Spectacular location right on the beach, lovely view, vibe and experience overall. Very well stocked - loved the beach towel collection. A little hiccup at checkin with the WiFi password but quickly resolved with a phone call to the host.

The California coast has always inspired us — especially its wild beauty, changing light, rugged shoreline, and restorative atmosphere. When creating and caring for this home, our goal was to preserve the original character of the mid-century architecture while creating a space where guests can truly relax, reconnect with nature, and experience the peaceful rhythm of life by the ocean.
We love sharing places that feel authentic, thoughtfully designed, and deeply connected to their environment, and we hope guests leave feeling refreshed and inspired by the beauty of Aptos and Monterey Bay.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers one of the most unique combinations of natural beauty, privacy, and authentic California coastal charm anywhere on the Central Coast. Beach Drive in Aptos has a relaxed, local feel while still being close to great restaurants, coffee shops, hiking, and everything Santa Cruz County has to offer.
What drew us most was the direct connection to the ocean. Being able to step onto the sand, hear the waves from every room, and enjoy unobstructed views of Monterey Bay creates a peaceful atmosphere that is hard to replicate. The neighborhood feels tucked away and quiet, yet it is still conveniently located near Aptos Village, Capitola, and Santa Cruz.
We also loved how the mid-century modern architecture fits naturally into the coastal setting. The glass walls, open layout, central atrium, rooftop deck, and beachfront deck were clearly designed to embrace the surrounding environment and indoor-outdoor lifestyle that makes this area so special.
