Private Island + Lakefront Home

The Neighborhood:

Highland Lakes is a private community on a series of manmade lakes on top of a mountain. It was built in the 1930s, originally as a seasonal community with small cabins. Over time, more people have decided to live here all year round however the old country club vibe remains.



There is very much a sense of community and nature here. Being that we're somewhat isolated on top of a mountain, there is an abundance of wildlife you may see, including Bald Eagles, Otters, & Black Bears to name a few.



The community is about 2,000 homes with 5 lakes and 7 beaches which you are welcome to explore. During the summer months, there are a multitude of club activities available (pickle-ball, sailing competitions, ceramics, etc...).



Getting Around:

Driving

You will need a car to get around.



Parking

There is plenty of driveway parking on site.



Other Things to Note:

- Pets will be considered with a bit more information.

- There's an iPad in the house that controls the lights/shades and has a huge list of things to do, places to eat, maps of where things are in the house... it's really cool you guys.
