Very clean and modern property with lots of room. Really nice to have two ensuite bathrooms. The parking is good too. Which is important in that area. The host was very responsive which is always reassuring. As we were in town for a family wedding we could have used an iron and ironing board to freshen up our clothes. But definitely not a deal breaker. The description included the detail about the stairs down to the apartment so it was helpful to know that in advance.

Nice property very clean. Everything you need for comfortable stay was available. The only downside is that the walk to the beach and restaurants was difficult if you have mobility issues. It’s an extremely steep hill to walk up and down. You also had to climb 30 steps to enter the property. Just maybe share that prior to booking so that renter is aware.

A very comfortable and clean home. Well equipped with much of the home essentials appearing to be new. The suite is accessed via a very steep set of stairs and would be very difficult for someone with poor mobility to get to. It is near the sea front, but again you need to walk down and up a very steep hill to get there without a car. The town centre is about 15 mins walk on a fairly level walk.

The host was so kind and thoughtful. His communication was immediate with action. The views were there, but not quite as grand as we expected yet, they are there. The yard was fenced and perfect for our pooch. There is onsite parking, a bonus. The steps are steep and there are many so make sure your party is capable. As for walk to the beach, it’s a very steep incline, going down was a challenge and going up is worse, so be prepared if you decide to walk it. Sadly, parking is difficult near the peer but not impossible. Overall, the experience was positive, but the area was a one night event for us. East Van is out next stop.

We stayed here for one week as a mother and son. The apartment was exactly as described. It was very quiet, only a 10-minute walk to the ocean, and there was a bus stop right next to the property (public transportation works perfectly in Canada). The apartment was very spacious, tastefully decorated, and furnished with great attention to detail. The kitchen had everything we needed, including spices, oil, vinegar, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The washing machine and dryer worked perfectly. On our second day, we found some apples hanging on the front door as a thoughtful welcome gift from the host. We can recommend this apartment without any reservations. Tip for future guests: When you are standing in front of the house, take the stairs down on the right-hand side.

very clean and comfortable lower unit, two bedrooms with adjoining bathroom for each. Nice kitchen and living area and small back outdoor area with outdoor table and benches.
