The Lake House is at an excellent location for travels to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Point Iroquois Lighthouse, Tahquamenon Falls, and Mission Hills Overlook. The house is nicely appointed and fully prepared for your stay. The views of Whitefish Bay and entrance to the St Mary River was more than we could have imagined and watching both the up bound and down bound freighters was a treat. Wish we could have stayed longer

What a beautiful property! Everything was perfect. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with utensils. The deck is incredibly beautiful and a wonderful place to eat dinner. It was very clean and had plenty of room for our crew of 6 people and two dogs. This was an incredible vacation. I would definitely recommend booking. Hope to return again!

The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Check in and check out was simple. The house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials and bathrooms had plenty of towels. The lake and sunset views were beautiful and we enjoyed watching freighters go by and relaxing by the fire! We really had a great time and enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend booking this house for anyone looking to have a relaxing spot to “call home” during your UP adventures!

This was a great stay to make your base in the UP. Rock hunting was amazing at the beach right there. There were sandy beaches just a few miles in either direction even though our crew swam right at the house. Great outdoor spaces with amazing views of sunrises and sunsets. Kids were entertained on our one rainy day with games and pool in the lower level. Beautiful master suite with a view. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. We will definitely be back. It was one of our favorite stays.

Wonderful vacation spot. We loved finding rocks on the beach and seeing the ships go by. House was perfect for the 5 of us. Everything we needed was there. Fantastic views of lake Superior from master bedroom and living/dining room. There were even some beach towels if you wanted to go swimming. We had 30-35 mile an hour winds for a day and you could not even hear them in the house it was so quiet inside. Loved watching the waves from the wind remided us of Maine seacoast. Gorgous sunsets over the lake. Great outside decks and sitting areas.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax! The home was spotless, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly highly recommend!!!! Thank you to the very gracious hosts of this beautiful very clean property with plenty of room for the three families we brought. The beach is just a stairway down from the backyard where you can swim, kayak, and take in the wonder of Lake Superior. You can see the sunrise and the sunset from the beach and the back yard. The backyard has a big deck with lots of seating leading to a nice yard with a large firepit we enjoyed gathering around and cooking over. There were also grill options and a big well stocked kitchen. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Light switch’s are confusing to find and kitchen is overly confusing. View of the lake is blocked by a large fireplace and side windows have a mid frame that prevents you from seeing the lake. Other then these nit picky observations the location and property was great.
