The Space:

This two-story, duplex-style townhome is a great base camp for beach adventures. On the first floor, this Bayside resort retreat offers a living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a main bedroom suite, and a second bedroom. The second floor features the third bedroom. There's a screened porch for outdoor entertaining, too. Central air-conditioning and a washer/dryer. Two sofa beds provide extra sleeping spaces. Four TVs, one DVD, a gas fireplace, gas grill, WiFi. Bayside Resort is home to a facility with a heated 75-foot, five-lane indoor pool, hot tub, multi-purpose/aerobics room, locker rooms with saunas, and fitness areas with state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment! This waterfront golf resort community offers a quiet escape just minutes to the beach with exceptional accommodations and fantastic amenities. These include a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, two outdoor pools, a kids' splash zone, on-site snack and tropical bars, and a fitness center with outdoor tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball courts. There are also stocked ponds, a community pier, seasonal kayaking, nature trails with observation towers, and a dog park. The Freeman Stage at Bayside hosts a full slate of summer entertainment, including live dancing, music, and children's programming. *BAYSIDE RESORT AMENITIES - Heated 75-foot, five-lane indoor pool - Two outdoor pools - Children’s splash zone - Hot tub - Fitness center with a multi-purpose/aerobics room, locker rooms with saunas, and state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment - Jack Nicklaus Signature Bayside Resort Golf Course - Seven tennis courts - Basketball court - Sand volleyball court - Kayaking and paddleboarding (seasonal) - Nature trails - Stocked ponds - Community pier - Dog park - Meeting and banquet facilities - The Freeman Arts Pavillion - On-site snack bars and tropical bars - Beach shuttle (Memorial Day to Labor Day) *Guests can only access the amenities for an optional per-person fee that varies by season. Children younger than five years old are free. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2024712698 THINGS TO KNOW Bayside Resort charges an optional per-person fee for guests five and older for the use of the community's amenities, including the pools, tennis court, and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year. The local team will reach out to you before your arrival to arrange for this payment. Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within ten days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Beautiful!! It was very clean and just as we had pictured!! We loved the dog park for our two dogs!!

Beautiful neighborhood!! Nice and quiet off season. We plan on buying ourselves w/in the next 2 or three years so this kind of solidified our desire to live there year round

Great Value, Great Location

Our family was looking for a spacious, comfortable, functional, modern location for a family gathering. Our Bayside Resort home rental was fantastic. The house was very clear and in perfect condition. We would repeat a trip to this location in the future. Great value in a great location.

Clean and comfortable stay at Bayside - on Sunflower Blvd

This house was very clean and the furniture was comfortable. Our teenager loved the upstairs bedroom suite! Commons neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walking - we walked several times to the Freeman Stage to listen in on the concerts, and to Blue Scoop for ice cream afterwards! I would definitely rent this property again as it was the perfect size for my family.

Very clean and nice place

This was our first time in Fenwick and we loved it. Such a nice community. Or 4 and 6 year old boys loved riding their bikes through the neighborhood. The home was very nice and clean and has everything we needed. Lots to do in the area too.

Lovely house, great stay

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend with our 10 year old daughter and her 2 friends. Everyone loved the house. It was beautifully decorated, well equipped, spotlessly clean and generally very pleasant to stay in. The bed was so comfortable that we took a photo of brand and are seriously considering buying it for our home. Handy for Fenwick Island and Ocean City. We all wished we could stay longer!

Nice visit

Well appointed. Nice master suites. One suggestion moving forward is to provide a few garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, and a vacuum in order to help maintain the cleanliness and the contractual agreement.

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed your visit and our rental home. We do appreciate the suggestions as well and will be sure to leave our vacuum in the laundry room for renters during our next visit. Paper and cleaning supplies are the responsibility of the renter and we would have no way to keep those items in stock. However, if you rent linens from Resort Quest, they normally supply a starter set of the items you mention. There is a Harris Teeter just as you enter Bayside, so quick and simple to stop and buy what you need for your stay. Thank you and we hope you will come again!

Another Awesome Vacation at Bayside

Overall, our vacation was wonderful. The resort has many things to do for kids/family. We enjoy the pool a lot and always go kayaking and crabbing at the Pier. We are looking forward to the expansions in the near future. The house was great and spacious. We went to Sunset Grille on Sunset Avenue which had awesome food and great atmosphere. Jungle Jims is also one of our favorite things to do. WE always spend a day there. It's a water park in Rehoboth.

Thanksgiving Getaway

This condo is nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well stock with everything we need to prepare and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner. Bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. We were happy to find such a nice condo that would allow us to bring our dog with us. Everything was exactly as we expected from the photos. Bayside is a beautiful complex. We will definitely rent this condo again next year. Thank you.

Comfortable but a bit dated

The owner was very responsive. The house is a twin and rather close quartered. Comfortable but could use some updating. The stove top was cracked and there were pieces missing on the stairwell banister. I realize this is a well loved home, but I think fewer personal items might help make the space seem a bit bigger, IMHO.

Outstanding property and community

A very nice home that exceeded our expectations. Although in prior years we would normally spend most days at the beach, we found enough activities in Bayside to keep us busy for all but 1 day as the kids wanted to go to the beach at least once. We found the home to be very clean and well maintained. The check in process was quick and easy. All of the Bayside staff that we communicated with were very friendly. We spent most days at the main pool. Having the food store, pizza and ice cream shop adjacent to Bayside was very convenient. Also, the seafood store (Rippons ?) up the road across from Food Lion had a great selection of seafood at reasonable prices. We hope to return again in the future.

Missing supplies

One roll of bargain brand paper towels was provided and there was no detergent for the dish washer. There also was no dish rag. Otherwise, our stay went well.

A fine week in Fenwick

We loved it. Just a short drive to the beach. Parking is free at the beach. The beach is free(unlike a lot of NJ). Plenty to do around the community the house is in. Pool area is great. I had a blast just playing ping pong with my daughter. Tennis, volleyball etc.. My kids loved the Kayaking. Lots of biking. Plenty of dinning near by....more than you will have time for.. The house was beautiful. I bring a trailer for all my gear and bicycles and we just put it in the large garage. Lots of TVs , good internet. We will be back

Well appointed home suited our needs

I rented this home for myself, my two adult children and their families. Each family took one of the masters and I was left with the kids room, bottom bunk. That bed was hard! Other than that, the house fit our needs. My 3 yo granddaughter said, “This house is so pretty.” The air wasn’t working and the manager sent a team over within an hour. They found a more or less serious issue, but even that was resolved the same day with little interruption to our plans.

Great home!! Great community!!!

Loved the home! Very spacious and allowed for all of the adults to have alone time when needed, without crowding each other. Having 3 bathrooms was fantastic as well!! Only complaint is previous tenants didn't take garbage to dumpster at the end of their stay, and the garbage can was full. With it being so hot, the garbage started to smell terrible, which made the garage smell until pickup day (Monday). Nothing the owners could do, that's why I'm still giving 5 stars. Would DEFINITELY stay here again! Beds were super comfortable and there was a pack and play and booster chair, which made my son's nap time a lot easier, being that we didn't have to bring our pack and play downstairs or have him upstairs without a monitor.

Either way, I will be sure to relay this information because they are supposed to take care of removing trash when the property is inspected before the next arrival. Thank you for the feedback. When leaving the property it was a real pain to get the lock to open and close. Also we didn’t get to use the passes only one day. I think that you shouldn’t have to pay an extra fee. It’s not the visitor fault that the activities are closed. The beach at the point should not be advertised as a beach. Barely enough room fir a beach chair. And the water was dirty. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay.

Summer break

The Bayside resort has great amenities and home was very nice. It was very evident that it had not been cleaned by the service. There was sand all over, kitchen was not cleaned and trash was never taken. I blame it on the service although they were quick to fix screen and check on frig that took forever to cool down. The television in living room could be bigger and was somewhat awkward to watch from certain angles. All that being said I would stay there again since it is a great vacation resort!

Thank you for your review and we we are sorry you were dissatisfied by the cleaning. We have since changed cleaning services from ResortQuest to a private cleaner and have received excellent reviews about the cleaning since. It is my understanding that ResortQuest did offer this renter the option to have the house cleaned a 2nd time and it was refused and compensation was provided as a courtesy. The TV in the living room is 43" and is the largest possible for the space that is provided in the wall for the TV. I'm not sure why you had trouble getting the refrigerator to cool down, as we have never had a problem or had other renters complain about this issue. We hope you will consider us for your next vacation at Bayside.

Sweet week, peace and quiet .

Were looking forward to a peaceful week and we got it at this Location. Property was very clean and what was promised was there. Only thing I thought was strange was little things that you have laying around from guest or the owner was not there, example games, glass cleaner , cards Not a big deal though. Bed and baths were big , kitchen very nice. Living room was small and the leather couch not real comfortable . The dog enjoyed being with us and that was a plus . Beautiful pool and no one there and the sun was a plus , we did not mind but you did have to drive there . Only thing that would have been nice would have been a couple of bicycles as a great place to ride. Stores down the street had everything you wanted . overall a great time had by all. Thank You.

We do have games and cards on the shelf in the laundry room along with many books and magazines available to our renters. If those things are no longer there, we will replace during our next visit. 2019 family vacation

We were impressed with the property and amenities...very nice. The only issue I have is with the trash/recycle policy you have. If you’re staying in a property for an entire week, you’re going to have a good amount of trash and recycling. To expect “your guest” to haul it to the community dumpster in between trash hauler pick-ups is not appropriate. Trash I can understand because it’s picked up twice a week, but recycling? It’s a bit over the top. Speaking of trash & recycling, it wouldn’t hurt to have someone power wash those receptacles on a consistent basis...they were nasty. Bayside is beautiful and our family had a wonderful experience...would strongly consider returning.

So-so

Loved that were able to bring our non shedding dog with us to this home Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean however this home needs a little more TLC. The vacuum cleaner is completely filled and needs to be emptied, especially with a home that accepts dogs . Garage could us a good sweeping, it’s has a lot of sand in it , which you end up dragging in the house. No broom in garage. I would have happily swept it. The hand broom in the house needs to be replaced. It has seen better days.

Very nice and clean.

Our stay was very nice. However when we got the house I had no idea that was split in half like a duplex. It wasn't really a problem but it was just a surprise and I wish the house was a little larger. It worked well for our family over all. When we picked up our keys we weren't explained how we had to get our pool passes for Bayside from the welcome center. We checked in around 4 and by the time we got around to get our pass's, they were closed. We had two disappointed kids. Just thought it could have been communicated better on how we had to do that. The house was a very nice stay though and I would recommend friends and family.

We're very glad to hear that you enjoyed our vacation home and appreciate the feedback. We do our very best to show pictures of the house so there are no surprises. The very first picture shows the 2nd garage door, so renters can see that it's a duplex. We also include the size of 1850 sq ft so you know how much living space there is to ensure it meets your needs. Regarding the pool passes, it's my understanding Resortquest provides a welcome package with that information but I will be sure to relay your feedback to them to ensure better communication. We hope you will consider us for a future vacation.
