Great home for a getaway!

Our family loves staying on the canals and having a beautiful pool/patio to enjoy when we travel to Cape Coral. We were not disappointed at all with this home. It was much cheaper than comparable homes and the home met all of our needs. The owners/managers are quick to respond to messages and the pool/spa was wonderful! We enjoyed the neighborhood and distance to grocery stores.

July 4th stay

The home was just like the photos which is good (doesn't always happen with short-term rentals). Furnishings and beds were good. We do recommend that the host place the basics in the home, such as dishwashing soap, etc.--makes for an easier stay with the basics provided.

Great house! We really our stay in this villa. The house was just like the pictures, or maybe even better. The kitchen was well equipped and the pool area very nice. We did loads of barbecues and just hung out by the pool. Can definitively recommend this property for a nice and comfortable holiday in Cape Coral

Do not recommend this rental!

This would be a nice house however needs a lot of work! Pool does not work. If u turn the hot tub on it drains! Electrical problems at check in. These r a few of the problems. Talked to owner with no results! Upon leaving found Black mold in closets!

Nice House on the Canal

The house was very clean. The hot tub heated up quickly and everything was in working order. The kitchen was nice with many dishes and utensils. My only complaint would be that there was no hand soap in the house (kitchen or bathrooms) and only 1 trash bag for a whole week. Nothing major, but hate to buy a whole box of trash bags and stuff you can't fly with.

Perfect!!

This property was perfect! It was everything we were looking for and more! The location was close to everything we needed. The setup of the house was perfect for 4 couples. It was very open and inviting and the pool area was big enough for everyone to enjoy the morning sun and enough shaded area for those looking for that too. The owners responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had. The only negatives is that we wished there was more bath towels for our group of 8 adults and that there was a shelf or bench in the bathroom shower to set stuff on in the bathroom off the pool area. But I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place in Cape Coral! We wish we didn’t have to leave🌴☀️

Nice stay in Cape Coral

We come to Cape Coral every year so have stayed in multiple different properties. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would be back. While there we rented kayaks and had them delivered to the house, which was a great time and I recommend it for anyone staying there! Pros - Great location, pool is very nice, dog friendly, plenty of space for all of us to fit comfortably. Place was very clean and the check in process and communication was great. You’re able to use the garage with door opener which was convenient. Very quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors allowed us to relax the whole time! Cons - Beds were uncomfortable for a long stay, some small amenities would have been a nice touch (Make sure to bring dishwasher pods and extra garbage bags if you’re staying for a week). Also, the dock out back is in poor condition so I wouldn’t recommend walking on it barefoot as there’s some nails and wood splinters popping up. No major cons that would deter us from staying again tho. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

House was not cleaned when we arrived and refrigerator was full of food. We left for 3 hours while it was cleaned.Rotting fish left in trash cans which smelled until trash day!No beach chairs as listed in amenities. Property manager said he would bring chairs! Never received them in our 8 day stay. We didn't bring or buy chairs because we flew.Dock unsafe, blocked off with caution tape!Pool heater does not work, even after pool service man set it, and must be heated from hot tub waterfall feature, which takes hours. Renter pays electricity so not an economical fix! Couch is very uncomfortable!Toilet seat next to pool loose. House sleeps 8 and only 8 bath towels! 1 towel per person. No baking dishes for oven use. 8 days and could not go to beach or use the pool. The beds are passable. This place is a disaster! Worst VRBO I've ever rented!! I have rented many times and this is my first negative review!!Property manager is not to be believed. We asked for some kind of compensation due to all the issues, but were denied. The owners were there right before us so they know about the issues.Keep looking. This is not the one!!

The neighborhood and home were beautiful, unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness was not. The biggest disappointment was the pool, jacuzzi, and pool area. Pool and jacuzzi were not heated as advertised, both dirty. When bringing to our contact’s attention, their vendors took 5 days to heat the pool, and it was never cleaned. The jacuzzi jets did not work and we learned the parts were on order, so they knew of this problem. The pool enclosure was discusting, with cob webs and debris on all sides and ceiling.. We cleaned the sides as best we could. The pictures showed chairs placed along the canal deck/walkway, and there was only one broken down patio chair. The floors in the home were very dirty and everyone stopped going barefoot when they saw how black the bottoms of our feet became. The inside door in the smaller bathroom was very dirty and lower window frame black with dirt. Cob webs were found on the top of bedroom lamps, and side tables were dusty. The kitchen garbage can lower mechanism was broke and fell apart when we tried to use. (This was replaced.) Hand towel holder in the smaller bathroom fell off the first day. The ice maker in the refrigerator stopped working after 5 days. We did enjoy our time, but feel some form of compensation is expected due to the above, especially not being able to use the pool, one of the home’s biggest sellers.

Subpar experience and unjustified charges

Dear Monika, I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding our recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a series of issues that warrant immediate attention. Firstly, we were surprised to find additional charges on our card related to the BBQ grill cleaning and $60 for foil. We ensured the grill was cleaned, and the foil, which was found to be empty boxes hidden in the pantry, was never utilized. It is disheartening to be charged for items that weren't used and for a cleaning fee that seems unjust. Moreover, we faced challenges with the amenities provided. The pool was consistently freezing, the hot tub drained every morning and remained cold until 9 pm each night, and the house was set at 82 degrees, leading to a musty atmosphere. Despite our attempts to adjust the air conditioning to 70 degrees, it never came on after the first day. We refrained from using the pool due to its low temperature. The lack of towels at the property compelled us to share towels daily and fluff them in the dryer. Additionally, we purchased essential items such as laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, napkins, paper plates, hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, which are typically provided by rental properties. We made a sincere effort to leave the house in impeccable condition, cleaning it cleaning it thoroughly, and even restocking supplies beyond what we found up

House review

We had a disappointing VRBO rental experience in Cape Coral. The home lacked detail, and communication with the management company was poor. On arrival, roofing material blocked the driveway. Inside, we found ants, spider webs, empty propane tanks, and a broken can opener. The hot tub didn't heat up. We even had the pool person try to do it and he could not, saying, it's really finicky sometimes. We chose that home because it had a hot tub. We contacted Prestige Villas, Alex promised to address the issues but never did. The exterminator refused to spray indoors for the abundance of ants in every room and left angrily. Alex didn't follow up, leaving the ant and spider problems unresolved. While renting a boat, we had control issues and we bumped into our neighbor's boat, scratching our boat without damage to his. The neighbor's verbal aggression and swearing was disturbing to my wife and five kids, and Alex failed to address it. On departure, we asked about some charges that were made, and could not believe the unprofessional manner they responded. Due to lack of preparation, poor communication, pests, an aggressive neighbor, and unprofessional management, we won't return. We reported our concerns to VRBO, disputed charges, and will leave an honest review to assist future travelers.

Dear Gail and Dan You were guests like no one wants to welcome! After your complaint about the ants, we immediately hired pestcontrol to remove the ants. Unfortunately, the pest control worker could not do his job as he was aggressively reproached and told he was doing his job wrong (the pestcontrol guy has 20 years experience in his business). He did his job after the guests left. The propane tank from the BBQ grill was immediately replaced by us as well as the can opener. The spa heater is working fine. In order for it to work properly it must be set correctly. With a water temperature of 87 Fahrenheit, the heater needs to be set higher to heat. You just didn't understand that. You rammed the neighbor's boat with your rental boat. Instead of apologizing, you called him names and insulted him. Also, you did not wait for the property manager but just drove away. No word of apology even though the neighbor's boat was damaged. By the way, many of our guests have mentioned the neighbor in previous reviews, as being very helpful and friendly. Your behavior towards us was always aggressive and unfriendly.
