The neighborhood and home were beautiful, unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness was not. The biggest disappointment was the pool, jacuzzi, and pool area. Pool and jacuzzi were not heated as advertised, both dirty. When bringing to our contact’s attention, their vendors took 5 days to heat the pool, and it was never cleaned. The jacuzzi jets did not work and we learned the parts were on order, so they knew of this problem. The pool enclosure was discusting, with cob webs and debris on all sides and ceiling.. We cleaned the sides as best we could. The pictures showed chairs placed along the canal deck/walkway, and there was only one broken down patio chair. The floors in the home were very dirty and everyone stopped going barefoot when they saw how black the bottoms of our feet became. The inside door in the smaller bathroom was very dirty and lower window frame black with dirt. Cob webs were found on the top of bedroom lamps, and side tables were dusty. The kitchen garbage can lower mechanism was broke and fell apart when we tried to use. (This was replaced.) Hand towel holder in the smaller bathroom fell off the first day. The ice maker in the refrigerator stopped working after 5 days. We did enjoy our time, but feel some form of compensation is expected due to the above, especially not being able to use the pool, one of the home’s biggest sellers.
