Overall we had a good time and enjoyed the size & layout of the house. The floors didn’t seem very clean when we checked in & several screens on the back porch we’re off. Nothing we could live with (& did) but needs fixing.

Nice house - good value for Bethany Proper

As far as houses in Bethany Proper are concerned, this house is a bit more affordable than others in town, probably because it is on the corner of Oceanview and Route 1. However, the traffic noise is minimal and the house is well-shielded from the highway. This is the third year we have rented this house, and we appreciate the screened porches, the well-stocked kitchen, and the fact that the trolley drops us off right at the house! Normally, the house is pristine when we take possession. This year that wasn’t the case but we are assured that a better cleaning service will be in place for next year.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and for sharing your experience with us, Robin! We’re thrilled to hear that you appreciate the affordability of the house, the screened porches, and the convenience of the trolley service. I sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered during your stay this year. We strive to provide a pristine environment for our guests, and I appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our cleaning services. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will ensure that the necessary changes are made for your next visit. Thank you once again for choosing our property, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another enjoyable stay next year!

Vacasa - Bethany Beach - 222 Ocean View Pkwy

Rooms are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, home is within walking distance of beach that does not require crossing a major highway (Rte. 1), ample parking, everything just worked for us. We had 7 children with the youngest being 4 and with the fenced back yard, had no concerns. The coffee maker could be replaced because it has a steel carafe and is a awkward to fill with water but it works fine. This is our 2nd consecutive year here - unfortunately, there won't be a 3rd year due to exorbitantly elevated rental cost. But there would be a 3rd consecutive year if it fit my budget.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us, Thomas! We’re delighted to hear that you found the rooms comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and appreciated the convenient location within walking distance of the beach without having to cross a major highway. It’s wonderful to know that the fenced backyard provided peace of mind for your group, especially with the little ones, and that everything worked smoothly during your stay. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the coffee maker. We understand how small details like that can impact your overall experience, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. Please rest assured that we have passed your comments along to our local team for their consideration. We’re sorry to hear that the rental cost has made it difficult for you to plan a third stay with us. We truly value your loyalty over the past two years and hope that in the future, we can find a way to welcome you back.
