We’re a family from Westchester, NY, who have always loved the beauty and slower pace of the countryside. We created HIP Country Home as a place to gather, relax, and reconnect — a home where guests can enjoy the simple pleasures of country living, from morning coffee outdoors to evenings spent together under the stars. This area has been part of our family’s story for generations. My grandfather had a cabin nearby, and my dad spent time here growing up, creating memories that have always made the Schoharie Valley feel special to our family. We love the peaceful beauty of the area — the rolling hills, farmland, hiking trails, local farms, and welcoming small towns that make it a place where you can truly slow down and enjoy the moment.
