Glamorous lake house on a mountain lake in upstate New York (max of 8 guests)

Eagle’s Landing Lake House is a newly renovated and uniquely furnished and decorated four bedroom, two bathroom rental home which is in operation twelve months a year. The home is decorated in a whimsical combination of Adirondack style/mountain theme with the addition of nautical as well as Victorian elements. Thompson’s Lake is a clear, spring fed mountain lake located in the Helderberg Mountain range of upstate New York. The lake is 2.5 miles long and the deepest area of the lake is 60 feet. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The lake is relatively private although there is a New York State Park at the end of the lake. Eagle’s Landing does provide our guests with eight different kayaks, two standing paddle boards, three paddle boats, two row boats and two canoes. Life preservers as well as paddles and oars are readily available for our guests. (We are dog friendly so life preservers are also available for your canine family members)✨ The home, including all four bedrooms and the den, boasts knotty pine walls and ceilings made of southern pine with cedar wood beams. We have two resident bald eagles on the lake which often hunt for fish from our tall pine trees facing the lake. Winter, spring and fall are also wonderful months to visit Eagle’s Landing for leaf peeping, cross country snow skiing and snowshoeing, ice fishing, hiking and snow mobiling. We provide all bedding, high end glass and dish ware as well as cooking utensils. We also have three balconies directly facing the lake, a stone fireplace and several outdoor fire pits and chimneas. We own the building lots on each side of our Lakehouse so our location is very private and reminiscent of a state park. Due to the fact that we use a well for water and have a septic system, we strongly hold to the policy that the maximum number of guests is eight.
