Enjoy a full suite of updated in-home amenities and essentials plus easy access to restaurants, breweries, shopping, and outdoor recreation. Rustic decor and design features throughout the home's well-appointed main-level living space, accented with modern amenities. Oversize windows offer strong natural lighting and mountain vistas in the great room, with a sitting area anchored by an impressive river rock fireplace. The full-size kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and a beautiful tile backsplash. Gather around the bench-style dining table for memorable meals.

The property itself was clean, comfortable, and in a very picturesque setting. We enjoyed our time on the property. However, the check in process was frustrating and getting to the property was rough (not in listing).We were given the wrong alarm code and had to call numerous numbers, numerous times - finally getting it fixed over an hour later. It seemed no one we called could help. You won't deal directly with the host, you'll work with a management company who seemed to have no idea how to assist us, especially with our later evening arrival. The VRBO listing had incorrect contact information for a previous management company and the check-in email had our incorrect code, mixed messages on whether or not wifi was actually available, and almost no details on check out process. These are all fixable with an updated VRBO listing and better information provided to the management company. Additionally, if you book, be sure your vehicle can go up very steep hills with gravel. One of our guests was stuck on the mountain for a bit before we could walk down and assist them - and we spun out a few times going in/out at various times. That was not in the listing and may have altered which vehicles we brought. Again, the property itself was great - no issues with it at all and it was only 10min into town. Only access and check in were issues for us.

The Great Getaway

House and area where as good as it gets. The location is conveniently located close to attractions and amenities. We wanted a relaxing laid-back vacation this place delivered. Plus nobody around very secluded privacy is everything when looking to relax. Only advice take your time on road to house as it is narrow.

Great mountain home

Very nice log cabin. The cabin was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The view of the valley and the mountains is spectacular. Would definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous view from the living room, kitchen and porch! Definitely would need a 4WD to access the property if there was ice or snow.

Nice weekend trying to get to know the area. The cabin was GREAT and the view, wow. Very clean and kitchen completely outfitted. The only suggestion is to put a tv in the living area so that you can enjoy a fire and a movie at the same time. Alarm is a bit annoying but information was provided up front on how to manage!

Wonderful 3 day weekend

We are so incredibly thankful we found this place! It was so wonderful! It was clean, quiet, and peaceful. Our friends really enjoyed it! We wanted to use the outdoor fire but it was not working, but that did not ruin our trip, we really had not time to use it. The beds slept wonderful! Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Cabin in the Sky

Once you get past the road up to the cabin, the property is awesome. Bring a good book because the TV service and Wifi are pretty sketchy. But the view can't be beat!

Idyllic

This is the quintessential mountain house. Beautiful view. Kids loved the movie room. At first, the climb up the mountain is nerve-wracking for this Florida family, but we quickly adjusted. We had a wonderful time. Just what we wanted!

Cloud Walk is a gorgeous home. So nicely decorated and just as described. Very well stocked. Had everything we needed. Offered nice amenities and extra touches. We used the grill and the firepit in the evenings while looking out at the mountains. The shower on the bottom floor was very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Leather furniture made it easy to relax and just take in the view. We enjoyed our stay at Cloud Walk.

Great Stay

Everything about this cabin was first class. The kitchen was well equipped with first rate appliances. Would highly recommend. The one negative is more me than the cabin but I'm in that 60 plus age group and don't like to sit down to watch TV and have four remote controls facing me.

Closer would be nice, but...

The views were the best of anyplace I have stayed, and the isolation I can't say enough about. For me, this place is location, location, location. Problems were: rockers on deck in poor shape and seemingly too few for the capacity; pool room sadly too small, and the cues need tips. The road to the cabin was not as bad as feared, never needed the 4WD. Yes, I would go back.

Beautiful view

Beautiful house and views, be aware that the road to get to it is steep and confusing especially after dark. A fallen tree across the road rerouted us so that we arrived after dark and it was NOT easy to get to the house. Fun to have a pool table, loved the views, the quiet, the fire pit, the decor. Wish they provided coffee.
