Mountain Top Cabin with a View that is Centrally Located in Western Carolina.
Juke Cabin is great place to relax or be adventurous in the mountains of western North Carolina. Our porch offers an incredible view where you can relax on the outdoor sofa or rock in the rocking chairs. The porch is kid/dog friendly with a gate enclosure to prevent sneaking off! Meals can be enjoyed on the porch table or inside on the dining room table. Enjoy the indoor fireplace on a chilly night or outside at the firepit on summer evenings. The kitchen has been fully renovated with all new appliances and granite countertops. The kitchen cabinets an antique "wormy chestnut" that were made locally over 50 years ago and have been restored to maintain the mountaintop cabin feel.

Host was very quick to respond to questions. Beautiful views!! Nice cabin although very rough winding steep and narrow gravel road last 3 miles to property. Definitely recommend a front wheel or 4 wheel drive automobile to get there.
This is such a great property! The cabin is so inviting and woodsy - just what you want in the mountains. It was very clean! You would never know it's dog-friendly because it's so clean. The back porch is such a nice, comfortable place to hang out with lots of seating and awesome view. The host is super nice, helpful and attentive. We have no complaints. It was a wonderful mountain get-away.

Thank you Lana! We hope you come back for another stay.
The juke cabin was adorable, quaint and comfy. The view off the back porch was beautiful. We kept taking pictures. Michele, the host was very responsive. We would love to return sometime and recommend it for a mtn. get away. We took the train ride out of Bryson City on The Great Smokey Mtn. Train. It was a fun excursion for the day. Dillsboro and Sylva have quaint little shops and restaurants for a day of shopping and sightseeing.
Michelle was an excellent host! Checking in with us at appropriate times and quick to answer questions. We loved the cabin and our dog loved taking walks there.

Very quiet and the view of the mountains was amazing. The cabin was spacious and very comfortable. Provided everything you would need. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay.
Our stay in this cozy moutain home was perfect. The mountaun view is breath taking from the porch and the house is well stocked with everything you could need from; cooking, games, tvs, comfortable furninure, and laundry. The drive up the moutain is an adventure and confirms that you truly found a place to get away from everyday life and enjoy nature. The host does an excellent job of keeping in touch with you and is very responsive if you need any assistance. We loved spending time here.
Michelle was a great host. She checked on us before we got there and even called to provide some last minute information about the heat. The view from the back porch is gorgeous and the house had everything we needed. My family enjoyed the stay. Michelle provides great directions up to the house as it is not on a state maintained road. The first time you go to the house go when you have some daylight as Michelle recommends.
As advertised. The cabin had an incredible view and was secluded. We greatly enjoyed the wildlife, fireflies, humming birds, and the fire pit. The road up the the cabin was an adventure, but well worth it for the view.
The view is awesome. Enjoyed watching the weather change the views. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our hostess was very nice. She kept in contact throughout the process and our stay.
My wife and i booked the cabin for a quiet weekend away and it was perfect. The view from the porch is fantastic and a great place to watch a sunset or sunrise
The house has, by far, the most beautiful landscaping of any house we've ever stayed. Communication with host was great. WAY off the beaten track, the road to the house is challenging at first and you need to pay attention to the directions. Great mountain views from porch. House, while not luxurious, is clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
The place was clean, peaceful, spacious, and oh so relaxing!! The flowers gardens, the porch, the rocking chairs, all of it was perfect! Everything was so clean and welcoming! Thank you so much for sharing this place! We didn't want to leave!
The name of the cabin does this place an absolute justice. It does feel heavenly in the clouds. We absolutely enjoyed the stay. Cabin has a wonderful view. Has couple of games for us to play. The patio was our favorite place to hand out. My dog absolutely enjoyed roaming outside the cabin. It is a thrilling ride at night to the cabin. I would suggest to reach while the sun it out. The host is an absolutely amazing person. She is kind and supportive. I left some things at the cabin. She offered to mail it to me.
Very comfy cabin, comfortable bed. Stunning views and a wonderful porch to enjoy them from. Fill up the hummingbird feeder and you will have frequent visitors!
We enjoyed our stay at Juke cabin. We were greeted at the entrance by lovely native plants and the porch view was spectacular!! There were many amenities that enhanced our stay--cleanliness, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, ample linens and great communication from the owner.
We were so grateful to be able to take our extended family our fur babies-Thanks
We will definitely return to Juke cabin.!!

About the host

Welcome to Juke Cabin. Our family has been enjoying our mountain retreat for 14 years. Our kids and dogs have countless memories of spending time relaxing on the back porch, waterfalls, tubing, ziplining, picnics, hikes, gem mining... This list goes on and on. I am very happy to share suggestions on things to do for kids, families, couples and dogs. We are a dog friendly cabin.
Why they chose this property
We have done our best to provide a mountain cabin with modern features. Since we are located at the top of a mountain, our TV and internet are provided by satellite. Our kitchen has been fully updated to include granite countertops, new sink and faucet, stove and oven with air frying, microwave and refrigerator. The "wormy chestnut" cabinets were restored and are original to the cabin. We have an AC unit in the loft that cools the cabin. Since we are at the top of the mountain, the temperature is 10-15 degrees cooler than at the bottom of the mountain. We recently updated the flooring and provided a full-size ping-pong table in the basement.
We provide plenty of firewood for the fireplace and outdoor firepit! The porch is where most people spend their time. Take your pick of the outdoor sofa, chair, rocking chairs or dining table to unwind while enjoying the view. We have gated the porch so little ones and pups can't escape!
