This luxury development is furnished to a high standard in a contemporary Spanish style. It is fully equipped comprising 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (sleeps 4). The terrace overlooks stunning pool and gardens and has access to its own paddle and tennis courts and play areas for small children. Wi-fi and Avatel TV are also included.
The apartment is a 4 minute walk from a secluded beach shared with the Marriott and Sol Marbella Estepona. The development is gated and private and the pools are one of the highlights with 6 large pools in the development, there is plenty of choice. For nearby activities, the Sol Marbella provides a number of sporting activities, bars. restaurants and entertainment. The Marbella area is renown for its high quality golf courses, shopping, restaurants, bars, beaches and, of course, exceptional all year round climate. Benhavis, famous for its tiny mountain streets lined with bars, restaurants and shops is only 3 miles away. Popular surrounding areas to visit are the historic cities of Seville and Granada and Tangiers, Morocco is a short ferry ride away from Algeciras. There is also easy access to San Pedro, Puerto Banus, Estepona.

Apartamento ideal familiar

Es un apartamento ideal para pasar unas vacaciones en familia. Tenemos dos hijos de 6 y 11 años, y han disfrutado mucho de la piscina y de las comodidades del apartamento. Para nosotros también se ha hecho todo muy fácil. El apartamento es fresco para el verano, la plaza de parking muy cómoda. La piscina es un 10 y la urbanización es muy silenciosa, que ayuda mucho a descansar. Hay un ALDI muy completo cercano al apartamento, que ayuda en las compras del día. La atención y el contacto con la propietaria y la agencia ha sido muy fácil en todo momento. Para nosotros ha sido un lugar de vacaciones excelente. Saludos

Muy contentos con la selección

Nos hemos encontrado como en casa. Un lugar acogedor, fresco ( algo que hemos agradecido mucho en los días más calurosos ) y con todo el equipamiento necesario... la decoración muy de nuestros gustos... nuestra hija ha disfrutado de una televisión con muchos canales y que además es más moderna que la que aparece en las fotos. Esperamos volver en el futuro. Sophie un encanto!

Contact met de verhuurder en het verhuurbedrijf was super goed. Appartement was schoon en mooi ingericht. Uitzicht op het zwembad. Heel rustig complex. Ligging van het complex op zich prima, supermarkt op loopafstand. Voor onszelf was het iets te ver van Estepona (vanwege verblijf familie, moest er toch steeds een stukje gereden worden met de auto) Auto is wel noodzakelijk. Strand nabij, maar viel erg tegen. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad, En raden mensen dit appartement zeker aan!

We had a great time

My family enjoyed our vacation in this apartment! We only have one regret: not enough time to enjoy! I wish we stayed longer than a week. The view from balcony is beautiful. The area around the complex is really quiet and well maintained. We rented a car and visited local towns around. Each evening we had a dinner at different restaurants. In the mornings we relaxed at the swimming pool. We decided not to go to the beach (5 min walk), since the pool looked much more peaceful for us. The local really nice supermarket is just also 5-7 min walk from the complex. Very convenient.

We spent here fine 10 days. Apartment is clean, nicely furnished with pool view. It is located within quiet surroundings, we recommend for those who want to have peaceful holiday.

Wonderfully equipped, immaculate apartment

I have stayed several times at this apartment and have always had a most enjoyable time. It is exceptionally well maintained and has plenty of room for four people. The resort is not a noisy one which adds to the relaxing ambiance. The swimming pool is added inducement to stay at this resort. As a serious swimmer I can get plenty of lengths in before a sundowner on the balcony. A fine choice of restaurants are within easy walking distance as is the beach. Many a happy hour has been spent swimming in the sea and walking along the shore. I have never found it be crowded which adds to its attractiveness. I always leave San Pedro de Alcantara feeling fully rested and planning my next trip there.

Holiday August 2010

We stayed at the Hacienda Del Sol from 19th August to 2nd Sept with our 2 year old Son and 6yr old Daughter. Our first impression was how beautiful and clean the apartment was though we were a little surprised at the size of the complex which had @ 300 apartments though it was spread out with each block having its own pool. The buildings and gardens were very well maintained. The pool was lovely with a paddling pool next to it though children weren't allowed blow up rings, balls etc in the pools. The local beaches weren't very suitable for young children, although the sand was nice there were lots of pebbles and stones to walk over before getting into the water. Sunbeds on the beach in front of the Marriot (timeshare resort not Hotel!) were 15 Euros per day which was a bit steep. If you took a 20 minute drive to El Rosario or Cabo Pino the beaches were more suitable for young children with sand all the way and shallower waters for bathing/playing. Heaven beach had a Flamenco show on the Saturday night which mesmerised the children for over an hour as we were dining on the beach. The only restaurants within walking distance were set back from the very busy main dual carraigeway which wasn't so nice, we dined at 3 or 4, all were good food and service. Our favourite restuarants were Amigos and Los Albanicos in Benahavis 10 minutes away by car which had a lovely atmosphere at night. Nearest the apartment at the Marriot beach were 2 seafront restaurants both serving excellent food though only 1 was open in the evenings. We visited the 3 Selwo attractions (cable cars,safari park and marine park) We purchased a ticket to do all 3 which worked out quite a bit cheaper and definately worth the money. We also took a drive up the mountains to Ronda which was very interesting with some amazing views. All in all we had a really nice holiday but a car is pretty essential as the nearest decent sized supermarket is a 10 minute drive. Sophie the owner was lovely to deal with and was always quick to answer any questions/queries.

Comfortable Luxury

Comfortable Luxury We have had a wonderful time at this flat. The flat itself feels like home, nicely decorated and appointed with all the essentials. This has been a nice change from timeshare resort accommodations, or hotels. Having a beach on the Mediterranean Sea not 5 minutes walking distance is lovely. All the necessities such as groceries etc are within walking distance, and a short bus ride to the markets in Marbella and other coastal towns. One can even do without a car, taking the bus from Malaga. This is such a nice break if one has to drive everywhere at home. If you do have car access, the trip to Rhonda is well worth it, as are many other scenic and historical places. We have stayed here twice now, and we still want to return. All seasons have their own charm and activities, so any time of the year is good. We highly recommend this unit for holiday or even for a business trip.

Great place to stay in Marbella!

Lovely, clean, well located, nicely furnished property. Close to all the amenities. Lovely pool and great place to come back to after the sightseeing!

I love the Estepona / Marbella area and lived there for a year when I was studying so I know it well. It has absolutely everything from the culture of a beautiful University City (Malaga) to the picturesque shops of the old town of Marbella, the bleached, remote, beaches of Tarifa to shopping in Puerta Banus. It has of course an amazing climate even in the winter its usually sunny. I love the Spanish architecture of the holiday homes with their tropical gardens and pools. We don't find see this plethera of luxury holiday homes in France or other European countries. I feel my apartment reflects Spanish and Moroccan influences of the area. Everything in my property has been chosen with extreme care. I've really tried to capture an exotic but contemporary feel. I notice, everyone who stays leaves something interesting on the mantlepiece they have found on the beach as though they too have captured the environment in someway, shells or stones or smoothed pieces of coloured glass. I never tired of exploring the area, the shops, the bars, the restaurants, the markets, the villages, and even the mountains. This part of Spain gives me everything I need. Even at Christmas or New Year, there is life and fiestas in the street or even lunch on the beach. Every season offers something and even in the winter I can light a fire, crack open a bottle of red wine and watch the sun set or watch some good TV on Sky. What I love about are this area is it multi-faceted quality. When I lived there I had friends visit me constantly for different reasons. Some where on business, some passing through and some on holiday. This is both a connected cosmopolitan convergeance point and a beautiful retreat... what more could you want? Ski-ing? Its got that too!!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When I bought this property I searched all over the Marbella / Estepona area for what I was looking for. I thought of buying a propery up in the hills, in a town, on a golf course or buying up an old farm. After a long day's hunting in the dry heat and with a brain on overload I remember looking down at all the brochures on the floor of my hirecar. There was one property which stood out from all the others. It looked tropical, exotic, peaceful, and attractive and most of all, in that moment, the pool looked heavenly inviting. The next day I went back to the development. There was one perfect apartment left overlooking the pool and near the beach. It had a mexican / hispanic to it, with white marble and walls everywhere and a terracotta terrace. I felt transported. I went to the beach restaurant to have lunch with some friends to decide. It was a perfect day, with a gentle wind, there was some Spanish music playing. People were gliding through the water as they swam and small cabin cruisers were dropping anchor to come ashore for lunch. The water was flat and I could see the hill of Tangiers in Morocca across from Gibraltar. There was no doubt now that to be near the beach was a luxury I wanted as part of my property. This was different to any other beach because it was secluded by woods and seemed off the beaten track, but near all the exciting places. The apartment felt like an oasis in the busyness of Marbella, which, if I needed, was on my doorstep. I've had the apartment for nine years now and I still marvel at how perfect it is, very tranquil but right in the middle of all the action.
