Olde Towne Gaithersburg is both rich in history and diverse. The house was built three years after the train depot was created to connect the town with Washington, DC. There are multiple brew pubs and the OTC Grille within walking distance, but also Central American pupusas, Peruvian chicken and African soul food to enjoy.

The Inn on Fox Meadow is also known as "The Thompson Home" or "Little Zoar", so named by Reverend Enoch Thompson because it was his retreat from the hectic-paced Washington, DC. Initially a two bedroom Victorian farmhouse built in the vernacular style, additions over the years have added three bedrooms and four bathrooms. It is on the Gaithersburg registry of historic places.
