The Space:

Aptly named for its classic style and setting, this woodland cabin on the outskirts of Blairsville is a wonderful retreat for hikers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes. Enjoy a beautiful deck that wraps around the house where you can sip your morning coffee and listen to the sounds of the forest in the evenings.



This two-story home sits 11 miles south of downtown Blairsville, giving you easy access to the conveniences of town in a serene, rural setting. In this lovely pocket of North Georgia, you'll be within a five-mile drive of Vogel State Park, the Appalachian Trail, Sosebee Cove Scenic Area, and DeSoto Falls Recreation Area.



The house has all the elements of an inviting mountain escape, from the wood-paneled walls to the gas fireplace encased in stone. After a day of adventure, come home to set up a board game or watch a favorite movie in the living room. Enjoy an open kitchen with modern appliances, two breakfast bars for easy dining, and a gaming system for your after-dinner entertainment. You'll also have a second TV in the bedroom and complimentary WiFi throughout the house.



During your visit, enjoy access to a wide variety of shared amenities including a large covered and furnished deck with an outdoor gas fireplace, two firepits, and a fun-filled, lower-level game room with classic arcade games, vending machines, a TV, full-size pool table, virtual reality area, ice machine, and poker table.

Waterfall getaway

We had an amazing time. Look at several beautiful waterfalls, hiking some great trails. I had a great time trout fishing. Caught my limit within a couple hours the cabins are perfectly furnished and excellently cleaned, and that goes for the whole property. Even the bear was cute. Looking forward to coming back.

Classic stay

The cottage was absolutely what I was hoping for. We did a Mother/Son hiking trip to blood mountain. My son loved the outdoor swings at the cottage. And the fold out couch was perfect size and super cozy by the fireplace. If you stay here highly recommended taking the Hilton Creek road to see the falls… truly was a hidden gem right in the backyard of the cottage.

Swings and S'mores!

This is our third stay at the Rise Retreat and we have loved it every time. I enjoyed the scenery and peacefulness at the property. My kids loved the new swings, we made s'mores at one of the fire pits and enjoyed some time in Blairsville. We had family staying in another cabin so it was nice to spend time on our own and also be able to cabin hop and hang out in a bigger group. The game room at the lodge was also a hit with everyone. The cabin was very clean and stocked with anything you might need. Thanks for another memory!

The Classic

Housekeeping was subpar. Stove burners were filthy and microwave had spilled food inside. Floors especially under bed had dust balls. I am especially picky when it comes to cleanliness These details would not prevent me coming and staying again
