Nice place for a couple’s getaway in the hill countryWe visited in late July. The stay overall was very nice. The Casita is spacious yet designed in a way that feels cozy. . It is peaceful as it is far enough up the driveway from the road so you can’t hear any traffic noise. The Casita is about 50 feet across the driveway from the main house. The neighborhood is spaced so that it feels like fairly remote Texas hill country but is still just minutes away from stores, restaurants, gas stations, and more. Some highlights:Kitchen is modern and well-equipped The water pressure in the full bathroom was excellent Adjustable recessed ceiling lights as well as plenty of lamps allowed for great lightingFurniture was comfortable There is lots of closet space The host was very responsive to our questions and concernsA few things to be aware of:Bed and couch are comfy but kind of smallThe Casita did get pretty warm in the later afternoons because of the angle the sun came in the windows with thin curtains and blinds, and air circulation was not great with that afternoon heat; the inside temperature got in to the low 80s during the late afternoon hours. The wood floors were somewhat slippery (at the time of my stay the host requested we not wear shoes inside). Overall, nice space and very enjoyable!
