Nestled on 2.5 private acres of beautiful Colorado ponderosa forest, this peaceful mountain retreat offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Whether you're planning a family reunion, multi-family vacation, graduation celebration, wedding weekend, or group getaway, you'll enjoy the feeling of being tucked away in the forest while remaining just minutes from shopping, restaurants, and many of Colorado Springs' most popular attractions.
The home features 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and offers flexible accommodations to fit your group's needs. Sleeps up to 14 guests, featuring spacious gathering areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large covered deck overlooking the forest.

(There is an additional downstairs unit that adds 2 more bedrooms, a sofa bed, and another bathroom (and kitchenette). If you'd like book the entire house - upstairs and downstairs, which sleeps 20, please see listing #4816294. However, if only this listing is booked (upstairs only), the downstairs will remain locked and empty. We will not book someone separately downstairs.

This place is designed for FAMILIES! Upstairs, next to the kitchen, there is a playroom for kids with art supplies, a play teepee, nugget play couch, toys and tv. The TV has a Firestick so you can log in to all of your subscriptions, or you can use the DVD and kid's movie library. Check out our adventure characters in the play room: Rocky, Aspen, Miles, and Ember. Enjoy their artwork, stuffies, and go on adventure with them in the matching puppet theater! This room will provide hours of fun for your kiddos!

The large upstairs kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals. Pots, pans, dishes (regular and plastic), knives, utensils, and even kids cups with our matching characters are provided! Need to do laundry? No problem! There is a full size washer and dryer.

Enjoy the forest views from the large deck and serene atmosphere of this amazing 2.5-acre, forested property. The backyard has a gas fire pit with seating. Enjoy two hammocks and a swing, as well as our fun teepee with games like tic-tac-toe painted on the tree stumps. There is additional dining space on the deck with a table for 6, a separate kid's picnic table, and a flattop grill (ready to use with propane). We even have a gate at the top of the deck stairs so little ones can safely enjoy the deck. The upstairs living room has double doors and screens to open up to the large deck, as does the master bedroom. The downstairs also has access to the backyard. Guests will often see deer and wild turkey during their stay. Keep an eye out for foxes, eagles, and hawks as well!

There is plenty of parking on the large driveway and a great 4.5-mile hiking trail a 1/4 mile walk down our road. Even walking the dirt roads in the neighborhood is like a lovely walk through the woods! This is the perfect home for a family reunion, to prep for a wedding, or hold a small retreat. Guests have hosted rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches at the property. This is allowed as long as you ask ahead of time.

THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY. Smoking, or fires of any kind (including cigarettes/cigars/marijuana/fireworks/firecrackers/sparklers) are not allowed. We are at extreme risk of forest fires after a dry winter. Please do not smoke on the property. Even cigarette butts are a serious concern at the moment. We have provided a safe, propane fire pit to enjoy safely.
