Great place to stay

Fantastic view from the 2 terrasses. The appartement is very large and convenient. Easy access. Walking distance from both the center and the sea. I recommend this place.

Traum am Meer

Wir hatten eine geniale Zeit in dem wunderschönen Appartement. Ausstattung der Küche ausgezeichnet, bequeme Betten, der Blick von den Terrassen traumhaft.Wirklich luxuriös geräumig. Trotz der nahen Lokale haben wir es immer ruhig empfunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir kommen wieder und verzichten dann auch auf ein Mietauto. Einfach, ein großartiger Urlaub!!

Appartement wie beschrieben, wirklich TOP. Aussicht wirklich atemberaubend.

Das Appartement ist wirklich wunderschön und die Lage einmalig. Beide Restaurants sind direkt unter dem Appartement bzw. nebendran. Wir hatten ständig den Gestank nach verbrannter Pizza oder ähnlichem in der Wohnung. Die Küche des Restaurants inkl. Spülmaschine hat man leider bis nachts im Schlafzimmer gehört. Massenauflauf beim Sonnenuntergang, muss sich wohl dieses Jahr erst entwickelt haben. Das störende Geräusch war leider in den unteren Schlafzimmern auch zu hören. Die Mieter des Appartements von Nr. 3 sind deswegen fast wahnsinnig geworden und haben mächtig Druck gemacht. Es liegt wohl an einem defekten Wasserspeicher im Lokal, der ständig den verlorenen Druck wieder aufbauen muss. Die letzten beiden Nächte wurde dann der Stecker über Nacht gezogen. Appartement Nr. 1 wurde leider auch noch komplett renoviert und das "GANZE" bereits morgens ab 7:15 Uhr. Da hatten wir in dieser Woche leider pech. Den Sternenhimmel konnten wir immer erst genießen, wenn beide Lokale geschlossen hatten, da direkt grelle Strahler angeschaltet waren und einem auf der Terrasse bei Nacht geblendet haben. Wir haben uns trotz allem gut erholt und werden El Cotillo und das Appartement in guter Erinnerung behalten.

Schönes Apartment in hervorragender Lage

Insgesamt ist es eine schöne und erholsame Woche in dem Appartment gewesen. Am Ankunftstag hatten wir leider kein Wasser in der Wohnung, erst am nächsten Vormittag war die Wasserversorgung wieder stabil. Der Vermieter hatte sich auf unsere Anfrage am Morgen gemeldet. Das Problem lag außerhalb des Appartements

Tolle Wohnung mit Störfaktor

Das Positive vorweg: Die Wohnung ist TOP! Sie war sauber, es war alles vorhanden auch in der Küche, der Ausblick war traumhaft, das Bett (die Matratzen) sehr gut. Es hat uns auch nicht gestört, dass es keinen Geschirrspüler, keine Waschmaschine und kein WLAN gab. Für 1 Woche Aufenthalt kein Problem. Auch die Pizzeria darunter stört überhaupt nicht. Für Gelsen (waren doch da) haben wir immer ein Moskitonetz eingepackt. El Cotillo ist ein sehr nettes, ruhiges Örtchen mit sehr guten Lokalen. Für Wellenreiter, Kite- und Windsurfer ein Paradies. Für all das gibt es 5 Punkte! 3 Punkte Abzug gibt es für den Whirlpool auf der Nachbarterrasse, der leider unseren Aufenthalt sehr getrübt hat. Die ersten 4 Tage war dieses Gerät im Dauerbetrieb - Tag und Nacht! Das Brummen war in den unteren Räumen - Wohnzimmer, Küche, 2 Schlafzimmer und Terrasse sehr laut und unangenehm auch im oberen Schlafzimmer (wo wir geschlafen haben) noch deutlich zu hören. Trotz mehrmaliger schriftlicher Intervention (vor Ort gibt es keinen Ansprechpartner) bei unserem Vermieter konnte dieses Problem nicht gelöst werden. Es wurde uns zwar mitgeteilt, dass der Vermieter der Nachbarwohnung sich der Sache annehmen wird aber es passierte genau gar nichts. Nach 4 Nächten bekamen wir als Antwort, dass sich bis jetzt niemand deswegen beschwert hätte. Am 5. Tag war dann ab 18.00 Uhr endlich Schluss mit dem Brummen vom Whirlpool uns wir hatten die erste ruhige Nacht - es war wirklich sehr still! In der vorletzten Nacht lief der Whirlpool wieder und ich bat gegen Mitternacht die Mieter, ob sie den Pool ausschalten könnten, weil diese Brummen einfach unerträglich wäre. Der Mieter versprach das auch, weil auch für sie dieses Brummen sehr störend war, es aber 4 Nächte dauerte, bis sie endlich heraus gefunden haben, wie man das Gerät überhaupt ausschalten konnte. 30 Minuten! später war dann endlich Schluss und auch die letzte Nacht konnten wir in wunderbarer Stille geniessen.

A lovely apartment with stunning views from the large balconies. Perfect position for us on the edge of the town - close to bars, restaurants etc. I would recommend a hire car if you want to visit El Cotillo’s many beaches.

wunderschöne und toll gelegene Wohnung.

Wohnung hat eine wunderschöne Lage, toller Blick. Alle Geschäfte, Bäcker und Restaurants in Laufnähe. Pizzeria/ Restaurante im gleichen Haus stören überhaupt nicht. Trotz Außenhitze immer angenehmes Klima in der Wohnung infolge der guten Querlüftungsmöglichkeiten. Sehr sauber, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Auch für sechs Erwachsene (eine Familie) völlig ausreichend Platz. Kontakt mit Vermieter und Schlüsselübergabe problemlos. WIR haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Jederzeit wieder.

Fabulous view down the coast from the balcony

A great spot right on the clifftops. El Cotillo is quite laid back yet with all facilities at hand. An amazing choice of restaurants. A good choice for a quiet getaway.

We have watched these places being built over the years so pretty much knew what we were getting. We were not disappointed. We stayed as a couple in an apartment which should sleep six. It may be a bit cosy for six however the size of the sun terraces and the fact that most of your holiday will be spent outside should not put you off. Inside was very clean however do be aware that the water running through the toilet can be quite dark and also the dry, barren landscape coupled with the winds means that dust may be unavoidable. We are frequent visitors to El Cotillo and this apartment was everything we hoped and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy another stay. Loved it!!

Nice apartment, stunning views

Quiet (partly because the pizza restaurant downstairs was closed for holidays). Apartment very well appointed in many respects (spacious, multiple terraces, comfortable) but slightly limited in others (no dishwasher, no iron, no full length mirror). Excellent location on the edge of town, so great views of the ocean and southerly beaches yet easy access to restaurants.

Nice penthouse!

We've had a very pleasant stay in El Cotillo. The penthouse is exactly as described on the internet and the pictures are accurate. It was clean and new. Many space, indoor and outdoor (nice view). We would recommend it!

Tolles Appartement mit traumhaftem Meerblick

Sehr schönes Appartement, groß, geräumig, neu, modern und absolut gepflegt Wirklich tolle Lage, traumhafter Ausblick! Wir würden gern jederzeit wiederkommen, voll zu empfehlen, bis auf zwei Kritikpunkte: vor Ort hat man absolut keinen Ansprechpartner, keine Tel.nr. , falls es doch mal Fragen/Probleme gibt. Unser TV funktionierte leider nicht, schien nicht angeschlossen zu sein, für uns war das nicht weiter tragisch, aber wir waren schon verwundert, dass keine Reaktion auf unsere Nachfrage per mail erfolgte und tel. auch niemand erreichbar war... Zwischenreinigung/Handtuchwechsel gibt es leider auch nicht.
