Funky lakefront camp with a Killer sunset in Alburgh VT
This cute little gem not only has the worlds coolest wallpaper and decor, it also has everything you need. It's right on the lake with a large lawn space with chairs and an outdoor dining table and fire pit. This rental comes with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, full bath with a standup shower (no tub), 3 cute bedrooms, living room and sun porch and spacious deck with a small covered portion. The bunk room and living room have TV's. The sunporch has a beverage fridge for overflow and a daybed for an extra bed. There are fun games - both indoor and outdoor, books and toys for the littles. We have 3 kayaks, floats and paddle boards for you to enjoy. Like every lake house, we do get the occasional bug, while this IS a slice of heaven, it is not the 4 Seasons, we do our best to make sure you don't, but, you may see a spider or bug occasionally. You will get this at every lake rental. That is #lakelife. This home is located in such a magical part of Vermont with clean lake water for swimming or floating and a lot to do such as hiking, biking, disc golf, pickle ball, kayaking, paddle boarding and walking trails. There are a lot of really cute restaurants and lots to explore around Alburgh. If relaxing and taking in the scenery is what you need, we have a killer view with amazing west facing sunsets, and the perfect spot to lounge on a hammock and read a book. There is great fishing right off the dock or in front of the home and we have a lot of wildlife to watch. You will see fishing boats in the mornings and evenings because those who know where the good fishing is, come here. We have seen the occasional bald eagle and various other cool birds. We have Wifi for you to use. There is a dock that is out in the summer months, but brought in for the fall/winter. While it is not 100% necessary, we recommend water shoes. It's mostly sandy bottom but you can run into the occasional rock. This house is year round. Alburgh is a great place to enjoy the fall season and the leaves changing. The views are stunning during fall foliage. During the winter there is ice fishing and peace and quiet. This is a very popular spot for people that like to road bike. We have had this listed on VRBO with very positive reviews but switched users so that the wife could run it for now. We had all 5 star reviews. This place is truly magical. Everyone that comes here doesn't want to leave. This is not a place to host parties, but to enjoy the quiet with family or friends. We enjoy it with our family a lot of the time, but would love for you to enjoy it when we aren't able to be here. We do have German Shepard, lovely old gal with one floppy ear. We do our best to vacuum up the fur so you don't notice, but we do want to point out that she does live here, so this is something to keep in mind if you are allergic to dogs. Unfortunately due to the neighborhood we cannot allow other dogs in the rental. This is a friendly quiet neighborhood. We are located 5 minutes to the Alburgh golf course/wedding venue, and also very close to the Canadian border, St Albans and a really beautiful 1 hour drive to Burlington and 35 minutes to Plattsburgh.
Please note that the primary bedroom has 1 king bed, it's listed as two but I can't figure out how to change it.
