Just what we were looking for!!
Clean, comfortable and very well stocked cottage.
Quiet, comfortable, and clean
Linda was a wonderful host andhaaa beautiful property right on the lake. We lucked out with some gorgeous weather and took advantage with a nap out there the lake in the big back yard. Awesome area for photos at sunset to! The house spacious and clean. Being sick or slippers for walking on the hardwood as it can get a little cold. The sunroom was awesome! Wish we had more time to enjoy all that was offered. We’ll be back! Thanks Linda!
Very cute house. Tiny while spacious. The lake 10 steps away is gorgeous, too. On the night we stayed over, the moon was very bright and the entire like was shining under the moon. We can see it by sitting on the screened porch. We had a perfect time there. The only issue we have is the weak signal for WIFI. I have to use my smartphone to finish drafting a 20-page document.
Perfect vacation get a way. The cottage is clean, quiet, well-maintained, nicely landscaped and located at the end of a private road. The home offers plenty of amenities and is well stocked with the essentials. The views from the deck are breath taking especially at sunset. We had our dinners in the sun room overlooking the lake, enjoying the quite of the location and cool evening breezes. Montreal is about an hour away and makes a great day trip (or two); Burlington is about an hour away as well. There's a dock, rowboat, fire pit and grill not to mention plenty of chairs....all of which were clean and well maintained. The owner can be reached via cell or text and responded within 5 minutes both times I had a question. Overall, with regards to the beauty, cleanliness and amenities offered, I think the description of the property is somewhat understated. Once you visit, you'll understand why.
Our stay here was so enjoyable! This cottage had everything to make our stay comfortable and home-like! The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable, and the living room was relaxing! We enjoyed our meals sitting in the great screened porch! Our dog also enjoyed himself! Only drawback was when we had to leave! Thank you Linda!
Enjoyable first family vacation
Finally getting around to writing a review of our stay here. My family and I had a great time and the place was perfect for our first family vacation. My 3 boys (ages 1, 3, and 6) absolutely loved it. They were pretty bummed when we had to leave. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The views and sunsets from the back yard are spectacular. The location is close enough to make day trips to Burlington, Mississquoi NWR, and many VT state parks. We spent a lot of time boating and fishing as well. The only minor disappointment was that the water was so low in the lake this summer that I could not dock my boat. We have had an extreme drought in the Northeast this summer and Lake Champlain was over a foot lower than normal. In a normal year it would not have been an issue at all. Luckily the cottage is only about 1/2 mile from a public boat launch so it was easy enough to trailer the boat. Overall, I would highly recommend this cottage. Especially for families with children. There is even a small assortment of games and toys. Linda was a pleasure to do business with an very helpful.
