THINGS TO KNOW

• The hot tub is a 120V Plug N Play hot tub. If the water is changed between guests, it will take at least 24 hours to reach temperature. Your patience is appreciated as we offer this new and delightful amenity.

• For an extraordinary, rural work-from-home experience in this exquisite natural setting, please bring your own personal hot spot as we have not been able to secure a reliable WiFi provider due to the rural nature of this home

• The property caretaker lives about 100 yards away on the same multi-acre lot. The caretaker respects guests' privacy and will only come around if assistance is requested.

• Duck hunting does occur on the lagoon from mid-October through January. There is no direct access to the lagoon from the property. A boat/kayak launch site is just a short drive around the corner.

• This home is not equipped with air conditioning. The home's coastal setting offers a refreshing atmosphere that many guests appreciate.

This is the second time I've stayed at this property. If I were rich, I'd offer to buy it. Few places in this world are as beautiful as that stretch of California which is largely forgotten by the tourist world and this home is in the heart of it on a fresh water lagoon with the Pacific ocean a 100 yards or so past that...not a common occurrence. The home is a menagerie of hallways and rustic by age which is the normative experience for homes along the coast but man it is such a good balance of seclusion and easy to get to and even better in its relation to Fern Valley, the Klamath, and many standout groves of redwood forests.
