Villa independiente con vistas al mar con una impresionante vista al mar. Acceso directo a la costa rocosa, al lado de nuestra propiedad. Muy privado y tranquilo. Ubicado en Mongerbino, a 25 km de Palermo. Está en un punto estratégico para llegar a muchas ciudades y otros sitios, de interés artístico y cultural: Monreale, Cefalù, Solunto, Bagheria. Agrigento y sus templos están a una hora de distancia. Muy cerca de Mongerbino hay puertos marítimos como Porticello y Aspra, excelentes para comprar pescado fresco. También a solo 50 metros hay un acceso al parque de 'Monte Catalfano', ideal para practicar senderismo.
La casa está completamente rodeada por un bonito jardín y tiene una terraza muy grande que se divide en dos partes; un lado está expuesto al sol y tiene una hermosa vista de Capo Zafferano y el otro lado está protegido por un toldo que le brinda privacidad. El interior de la casa ha sido remodelado y tiene una sala de estar grande y muy soleada, una cocina, un dormitorio principal y otros dos dormitorios. Dos de las habitaciones tienen una vista impresionante del mar. Por supuesto un baño con ducha. La casa está rodeada de ventanas y tiene una hermosa vista donde quiera que mire. Es recomendable tener un automóvil porque el centro más cercano está a 3 km.


Nuestro concepto de calidad: el alquiler de villa Laura Marie, se lleva a cabo directamente por los propietarios. Disfrutamos de la casa durante algunas semanas durante el año y tratamos de mejorarla constantemente. Nos encanta la casa y esperamos que este sentimiento llegue a nuestros huéspedes mientras se quedan en la villa.
Aquí hay algunas cosas que podemos asegurarle:
- Lo que ves (en las fotos) es lo que obtienes
- Una limpieza precisa de la casa antes de llegar.
- Una persona que lo recibirá en la casa (generalmente los propietarios), le mostrará la villa, le explicará lo que necesita saber y responderá cualquier pregunta. Instrucciones escritas sobre la casa.
- El propietario está disponible para responder cualquier pregunta durante el proceso de reserva e incluso después.
- Habrá una gran cantidad de panfletos, libros y mapas disponibles en la casa con respecto a Sicilia y el área alrededor de Mongerbino.

A 50 metros de nuestra villa hay un acceso al parque Monte Catalfano. Algunos senderos lo llevarán al matorral mediterráneo y le permitirán observar desde arriba de la costa con Capo Zafferano, el pueblo de Aspra y la ciudad de Bagheria.

Tren a Palermo: si desea evitar usar el automóvil para llegar a Palermo, llegue a Bagheria o la estación de Santa Flavia, estacione su automóvil y llegue a la ciudad en 10-15 minutos

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at the villa! We enjoyed every second of the week we spent there. The views were spectacular. The house itself was clean and well designed, we had everything that we needed during our stay. The hosts are very welcoming and understanding, every little question or demand we had was promptly answered. We hope to return some day!

Perfect Stay

Perfect stay in a perfect place! The house is in a wonderfull place very quiete. Antonio is very considerate with his guests and gives lots of advice. he is also very available for all questions the house and its garden are very pleasant, well maintained and overlook the sea. private access to the sea is relatively simple even with a little girl. it's as if we were alone in the world. the villa is located close (10 minutes by car) to all amenities - shops restaurants. we had only one regret: having to leave!!

We had a memorable week staying at Villa Laura Marie. Antonio and Debbie were there to greet us, give advice and show us the house which was comfortable and decorated with care and attention to detail. It is filled with their collection of beautiful Sicilian ceramics. We were in a great location for touring the region, visiting Cefalù, Scopello, Erice, Trepani, Palazzo Adriano (il museo di Cinema Paradiso), and Palermo. It is easy and inexpensive to take the excellent trains to and from Bagheria station to Palermo. Aspra Beach is lovely with an excellent bakery and gelateria in front of the sea. We bought vegetables and fresh fish on the seafront and there is a good supermarket a few minutes away on a back street (Condin). The view from there terrace at sunrise is breathtaking. We ate outside whenever we could as we had quite a bit of rain during our week.

Home with a view!

We spent 9 days in this beautiful home in March of 2024. Everything was spotlessly clean and the whole home had been freshly painted. Communication with Antonio was easy and he even made dinner reservations for us at the restaurant down the road. We were able to do several day trips from this location close to Palermo but the best hours were spent on the terrace watching the fishing boats, paddlers, sailboats etc out on the sea. The pictures don’t do justice to the wonderful views. Daytime temperatures were lovely in the sun but we appreciated the heaters in the rooms in the evenings. We made most of our meals in the kitchen and ate al fresco every day. There were quite a few steps to get down to the house so anyone with mobility issues would have a difficult time. There were also steps leading down to the sea but the weather was too chilly for a dip. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Sicily. Thank you Antonio for sharing your home.

Après de belles journées passées à visiter de charmants villages comme Cefalù et Monreale, à découvrir la richesse culturelle de Palerme et les temples d’Agreganto, nous avons été ravis de profiter de la tranquillité de cette villa chaque soir et de la vue spectaculaire chaque matin. Bella vista

Wunderschöne Lage über dem Meer, traumhafter Blick. Besonders geeignet für Menschen, die Ruhe suchen, aber zugleich unaufwändige Möglichkeit zur Passeggiata in Aspra oder Ponticello. Die große Terrasse bietet zu allen Tageszeiten Schatten. Zugang zum Meer allerdings nur bei ruhiger See gefahrlos möglich. Wer viel selbst kochen will, kommt bei der Ausstattung der kleinen Küche schnell an Grenzen. Der Gasbackofen ist nur etwas für Kenner. Bei Belegung mit fünf Personen würde das kleine Bad durchaus Absprachen erfordern. Aber das ist Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau. Villa Laura Marie garantiert in jedem Fall unvergessliche Momente.

Une terrasse exceptionnelle

Un petit paradis sur la mer avec une vue incroyable surtout au lever du soleil. Le descriptif de l’annonce et les photos sont parfaitement conformes. Accès direct à la mer mais réservé aux adultes et bons nageurs car au milieu des rochers. Une petite salle de bain et pas de lave vaisselle. Le parking en voiture est très compliqué et réservé aux très bons conducteurs. Le jardin est magnifique également.

Fantastisk beliggenhed, ugeneret sommerhus med egen adgang til det mest fantastiske snorkel sted. Skønt grill område og tæt på Palermo og fødevare indkøb. Der stod der var toiletpapir, men til en hel familie på 4 var der 2 ruller til en hel uge, samt vi manglede opvaskesvamp/ samt håndsæbe. Vi ville dog fortsat vælge dette faktiske sommerhus. Virkelig valuta for pengene samt en vært “Antonio” som virkelig gerne vil hjælpe med at finde gode restauranter og alt andet. Kan kun anbefale dette sted…

A comfortable property in a beautiful location with views of Capo Zafferano and out to sea (with occasional sightings of dolphins). The terrace is spacious, immediately above the sea, and ideal for a peaceful day, and dining. Access to the property requires a car but visits to Palermo, Cefalu and Messina are easy by train from Bagheria station (ten minutes from the property). Antonio, the owner, is very helpful about good local restaurants (very good fish restaurant in Porticello, a small fishing port about 15 minutes from the property, and a very good, although expensive, restaurant some 400 metres from the property) and the location of local beaches. Access to the sea is possible from the property down a steep path to the rocks, but bathing is advisable only on a calm day. Overall, a lovely , interesting and restful experience!

This is a great house at a beautiful spot on the coast, well situated for exploring Palermo and beyond. Antonio was an extremely helpful host. The house was very clean, though the surrounding area (indeed much of Sicily) seems to have a trash problem.

Wonderful home in Sicily

Villa Laura Marie is truly a beautiful home for a visit to Sicily. Antonio and Deborah's location on the rocky hillside overlooking the seaside are just as described in listing, only more spectacular in person. Our family of three arrived in early May, Antonio greeted us with easy check in and even arranged reservations for dinner at Can Caus Restaurant. This is a lovely restaurant, close to house and the food was great. This home is the perfect location to explore many areas of Sicily. We had a car, manual drive Jeep Cherokee, necessary to get to grocery stores and day trips from home. We drove to Cefalu for the day, had drinks overlooking the sea at Porta Cefula, then walked the charming area around the cathedral. A must visit is to the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, a two hour drive from Villa Laura Marie. These ancient ruins are incredible, only a visit in person can describe the site and experience. Our trip to Mount Etna did take longer than anticipated, the highway was closed in areas, but this allowed us to see parts of Sicily that included a drive through high mountain passes with hairpin curves, spectacular views over valleys and a few wild hogs grazing the roadside! We were too late to get close to Mount Etna but were able to explore the town of Adrano, with views of the volcano and lots of history from the Norman era. Palermo was a short drive from the home once we discovered a good route, we were able to visit on several days for shopping and dining on excellent food in the small alleyways in front of the Massimo Theater. The port area was also great for a walking experience in Palermo. Above all, we were able to relax and enjoy Villa Laura Marie, a beautiful home and the best place start a visit to Sicily, Again, many thanks to Antonio and Deborah for our family to enjoy our first visit to Sicily.

Incredible view from a beautiful terrace

A wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We could have spent the whole week looking at the view and walking down to the sea but we also visited lots of beautiful places. Palermo, Cefalu, Greek temples, fabulous seafood and cooking fresh fresh on the BBQ. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll be back. Thank you Antonio

Beautiful Property With Wonderful Ocean Views

Rented the Villa Laura Marie for a week in September 2021. Antonio & Debbie are very gracious hosts. Their property is immaculate - amazing ocean views and beautiful landscaping. Also, lots of nice little touches inside the house. Really enjoyed relaxing on the patio and taking in the spectacular view of the ocean and Capo Zafferano. The house & property exceeded our expectations in all respects. Antonio was also very helpful in assisting us with a few matters which included finding us a place where we could obtain our COVID testing to get back into the United States. Using the Villa as our base, we visited Cefalu, Segesta & Erice & Monreale by car. All worthwhile trips once you get the hang of the aggressive driving in Sicily. We also took the train to Palermo from Bagheria and spent the day there where we did a walking food tour and took a tour of the Teatro Massimo. A very nice day indeed! Only disappointment in our trip overall was the garbage issue all over Sicily. Especially in the non tourist locations, you will see garbage on the side of the road. We have been to Italy several times and don't remember this to be so noticeable. Whatever the local issues are that allow this to remain, it detracts from the natural beauty of Sicily and the character of its towns and villages. Das Haus ist absolut super gelegen, es stimmt eigentlich alles am und im Haus, die Lage ist 1A. Der Zugang zum Meer ist abenteuerlich, ja gefährlich, das Meer selbst ist verschmutzt, so wie die Umgebung auch, unvorstellbare Mengen an Unrat, Plastik bis hin zu Matrazen.

Beautiful villa in a tropical, terraced garden on the stunning Mongerbino coastline

A dream vacation, the lovely Laura Marie Villa sits on a spectacular stretch of rocky coastline just east of Palermo. There is easy access to the water nearby, either a walk to a rocky outcrop which is great for snorkelling or a short drive to sandy beaches. The view from the large terrace is fabulous and there are plenty of chairs, deck chairs and sunloungers to enjoy it from, all surrounded by a well tended tropical, terraced garden. There is also a barbecue and outdoor kitchen area. Inside there is a comfortable open plan lounge/dining area with small, well stocked kitchen, along with 3 bedrooms. We are a family of 5, all children now grown, and we fitted the villa perfectly. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan to help stay cool in the hot summer months, which we really needed in early July, as the weather was hot and humid. The property has a driveway on a slope with a parking area that is big enough to use as a turning circle. Our large rental car needed to do a 7 point turn in the space, so probably best to book a smaller size car if possible. Antonio and Debbie look after the villa exceedingly well, with a friendly personal service and plenty of information and advice if needed. Although it was hard to leave the lovely terrace each day, we managed to visit many interesting places. Very close by is the ancient archaeological site of Solunta, well worth visiting and has great views of the region. We took the train into Palermo, which was also easy from Bagheria, and a short walk then to the main sites of interest. Driving in Sicily can be startling around the towns and cities at busy times....reminding us of Mariokart!! Be prepared for cars overtaking on both sides and free for all busy junctions! However, outside the city, the autostrada routes were an easy drive. We were able to visit Segesta and Ericae in one day and also Cefalu is an easy day trip. In nearby Castelldaccia we found a scuba diving company and 2 of our party enjoyed a half day scuba trip with them, while the rest of us relaxed at the nearby lido! Smukkeste udsigt.

Lækker villa med en drømmeudsigt over havet. Huset ligger uforstyrret og fredeligt. Vi har tilbragt en uge og haft en dejlig ferie. Vi har badet hver dag fra klipperne, vi havde maske og snorkle med, vandet er meget rent og der er masser af fisk at kigge på. Der er små trapper der fører fra huset og ned, de fleste ville kunne klare dem. Huset har alt hvad man skal bruge til en dejlig ferie, den store terrasse er helt unik. Det er let at køre til huset og parkere på egen p-plads. Det er let at nå de små omkring liggende byer når der skal handles ind, eller spises ude. Der er en mappe i huset med alle nyttige oplysninger og anbefalinger af området. Antonio som ejer huset stod til rådighed hver gang vi havde spørgsmål og var meget hjælpsom. Vi havde en skøn ferie i Villa Laura Marie.

Outstanding location!

We will always remember our enjoyment of the expansive and extraordinary views from the many outdoor living spaces! There were patios, nooks and cranies located throughout the grounds (as well as 2 dining tables) - all with a stunning oceanview. We never wanted to leave!

Meer, Sonne, Ruhe, ursprüngliche Dörfer, gutes Essen ...

Wir verbrachten im Juni eine Woche an einem herrlichen Küstenabschnitt in einem schönen Haus. Der Ausblick war fantastisch und wir genossen viele entspannte Stunden auf der Terrasse. Eine meist leichte Brise machte dabei die Hitze von 30 Grad sehr erträglich. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist funktional und bietet soweit alles, was man im Urlaub braucht. Der Garten zum Haus ist sehr gepflegt mit vielen exotischen Pflanzen (fast schon ein Botanischer Park). Der Weg vom Haus zum Meer sollte für 99% der Menschen kein Problem darstellen. Uns machte es viel Spaß im sehr sauberen Wasser zu baden. Besonders gefiel uns, dass die umliegenden Dörfer noch nicht vom Massentourismus verändert wurden. Hier leben noch echte Sizilianer, die uns sehr freundlich behandelten. Wir versorgten uns hauptsächlich am täglichen Fischmarkt in Aspra mit z.B. Schwertfisch (direkt vom riesigen Fisch geschnitten) und mit wild gefangenen großen Garnelen. Die Kilopreise lagen bei ca. 20 €. Sehr, sehr lecker ... Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war der Umgang mit Müll an einigen Streckenabschnitten in der Umgebung.

A clinical psychologist supported by his wife and daughter to take care of the villa. I like to receive our guests and I personally take care with some help of check-in and check-out; I consider very important to welcome the guests, make them feel confortable from the beginning and explain everything about the house and give some information about the area.
I love the villa and the nature around it ! We usually spend some weeks in July or August and some spring weekends when possible. I received this house from my parents and refurbished it in 2004 .

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

For a full immersion in the nature, for the possibility of watching from the terrace the sea and the sky changing every hour, for a very close access at Monte Catalfano Park, for being a very quiet place at only 25 Km from Palermo. Also for getting a very clean house and for our attention at a simple but stylish interior.
We love this house, love to spend some weeks here and try to pass and share this feeling with our guests.
