I visited June 2026 and enjoyed my stay with a Wonderful view, large space, large patio, full kitchen, secluded and quiet during the evening. 1 bedroom has a door and its own AC unit. The Upstairs loft is considered a bedroom but it’s open to the floor below, even the shower so don’t expect privacy. The upstairs AC unit also serves downstairs and barely kept up during 80F. But at least you have something. The shower upstairs is the worst design I’ve ever seen. It’s a curved glass enclosure and the door only opens inward. I barely was able to fit inside and close the door. The European combo washer dryer was difficult to understand and operate. A cheat sheet from the owner would have been nice. Regarding parking, you get a tiny spot across the street and hopefully no one parks in it. The required climb up a steep incline to get to the house is not clearly described and heavy suitcases makes it worse. I also did not expect all the motorcycle and car traffic during the weekend. It’s a popular road for enthusiasts it seems. Despite these issues we did find the Chalet nice and cozy for 2 couples. I hope this review helps future guests decide if this place is right for you.
