Rawhide Rendezvous - Great Deal - Quiet Solitude - Easy Year-Round Access - Fun!

Looking for a vacation spot that is truly away from the hustle and bustle? Then welcome to the RAWHIDE RENDEZVOUS! Located in the quiet town of St. Charles, Idaho, in the northern end of Bear Lake Valley (Idaho and Utah), this beautiful country home (two-story, wheelchair-accessible) on a one-acre lot is perfect for a single family or a family reunion. The home is air conditioned for your comfort during the summer months and has a fireplace to warm you during the winter. There’s plenty of parking for cars and four-wheelers/snowmobiles, and you have full use of the oversized two-car garage. North Beach, our favorite of all of Bear’s Lake’s beaches, is a quick 10-minute drive away; Garden City is only 11.7 miles south; and Minnetonka Cave and other nearby activities are only minutes away.

The house is 3,400 square feet, has six (6) bedrooms and four (4) full bathrooms, and sleeps eighteen (18) in beds. We will accommodate groups up to 34 (children two years of age and younger are not counted in the 34). There are nine (9) sleeping mats located in various closets in the home, and kids are welcome to sleep on the couches and comfortable lounge chairs.

Per St. Charles City regulations, no tents or camp trailers can be set up in the yard. Also, no parking is allowed on the city road (200 South). Renters may host parties with more than 34 people as long as overnight guests do not exceed 34. However, because of insurance restrictions, we are unable to host weddings.

The main floor has a wonderful great room with floor-to-ceiling, lake-facing windows, a big-screen HDTV, Blu-ray/DVD player, wireless internet, well-equipped kitchen with enough dishes for a Thanksgiving dinner, dining area, and laundry room. Three of the six bedrooms are located on the main floor. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom, and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom.

The downstairs is a daylight basement that opens onto a patio that faces the lake. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located downstairs. There is a large family room and a small kitchenette with a sink, small fridge, and microwave. Another big-screen HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD player can be found in the family room, along with an extensive movie selection.

HOUSE RULES:

Because St. Charles is a small, quiet town, noise ordinances (no loud noises after 10 pm) and speed limits (25 mph) are strictly enforced. Please respect the neighbors by keeping music and party noises down after 10:00 pm and by obeying traffic laws. If the police are called because of infractions, you may be asked to leave. This hasn't happened yet, but we want to remain on good terms with the neighbors!

COST:

$700/night during peak season: Memorial Day through Labor Day (minimum three-night stay) plus 8% Idaho sales tax.
$400/night during off-peak season: After Labor Day to just before Memorial Day (minimum two-night stay) plus 8% Idaho sales tax.

Payment can be made with a credit card or a personal check.

TAXES: Idaho sales tax of 8% will be added to the rental fee.
