This our second time to stay at this property. No one game is the key code until I called and finally got a response late Saturday. Just an FYI the downstairs bathroom sink does not drain well. The family enjoyed being able to be all together and the lake view was wonderful.
The house worked great for us. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of space. The views of the lake were amazing. We took the boat and the boat ramp at Shell Knob was very convenient. We would definitely stay here agian.
We planned this trip to be a big family vacation. The house was large enough to house all 10 of us 2 children included. It was clean and neat. The views of the lake in the back yard really took our breath away. We were able to swim right from the back yard.

Family vacation
Owner was not contactable when checked in. House was not clean. Had to clean all four bathrooms before family arrived. Grill quit working on Sunday. Someone contacted me on Monday and it was resolved quickly. The view and location were fantastic. Very quiet neighborhood. House could use some updating and should check flatware to make sure there is emough for number of people to rent the house. If properly cleaned we would stay there again.
Very nice location, awesome yard and house...but house needs a little TLC
The house was very spacious, and had even more beds than was advertised, which was a nice bonus. The yard was great for the kids to play and we all enjoyed s'mores in the little fire pit by the lake. It is lake front, with an easy slope to access the lake. I do recommend water shoes because, like most of the areas we saw at this lake, it was very rocky. The house had tons of room and we never felt crowded. The kids could play in the basement and the adults could relax upstairs, while still easily monitoring the kids. We did have a few issues, but the owner/manager was very easy to reach and responded quickly. She was a pleasure to work with.
It seems like they have been updating the house--it had new large TVs and a large comfy couch. It still needs a little TLC, but I'm guessing that the owners are working on it based on some of the updates they had obviously done. It could use a deep clean--like where you empty cabinets & drawers, wipe them down inside and out. It could also use a revamp of towels and a new microwave and oven upstairs, but I suspect the owners may have that in the works based on the other updates like new refrigerator, furniture and TVs.
Some minor suggestions are: It would be nice to have some lake toys available for renters. We brought a huge floating island that we actually left in the garage for future renters because we couldn't fit it back in the car.
It would be nice to have some chairs that could be used down by the lake and fire. There were some folding chairs in the garage, but they don't work well on grass and they are not comfy to lounge in.
Access to a dock would be a huge plus. We rented jet skis and a boat, and having access to a dock would have made a world of difference.
All in all, it is a great house and yard. We had a great time.

No AC/No refund
House is nice and large, with a great kitchen and bedrooms, and the location is excellent. However, this was overshadowed by two things. #1--The floors were truly dirty. The stairs had not been vacuumed in a long time--I took my vacuum over and got about a pint of "gunk" off of them. No floors had been mopped either, and there was quite a bit of crumbs/debris under the couch in the living room. Bathrooms and counters were clean, but that was about it. #2--The AC went out midway through our stay, and the temps were in the 100's all week. The AC did get fixed after two days, and we were able to return, but the property manager has not communicated with me at all since I first mentioned the AC problem. I asked for a partial refund, but I've heard nothing--no replies to emails or to phone calls. I hate to leave a bad review, and if this can be resolved, I will update this review, but for now, I cannot recommend this property due to lack of communication and cleanliness.
My family and I stayed at this house for a week in June. We loved that you could walk out of the basement to get to the water. We actually canceled some of our day trips in the Branson area because we enjoyed just relaxing at the house in the back yard by the water.
There were no drapes or window coverings on most of the windows. We enjoyed anyway. Had difficult time finding, needs clear directions. Lots of living space, beautiful view.
Great location!!! Close to water! Great property, but would be better with a boat dock available for boat!

Long Weekend
Lake house had a GREAT view and nice spot on the lake. It was very spacious and even had two laundry rooms.
There weren’t any ceiling fans so I wish we would have brought fans with us. I was also worried when I noticed there weren’t any smoke detectors in the house.
I already sent a deposit for the same rental next year
this was my 12th summer renting this property. It had a new big screen TV installed in the living room. Thanks. If I had a "wish", I would like to see all of the retired furniture in the garage removed. We historically have used the garage to store our "lake toys" and had a difficult time moving in and out of the garage
