Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Very cute. Great location between all the best coastal sites. Very clean. This cabin made our weekend!
The house is clean and the wood stove is a must in the fall and winter. FYI- bring your own wood or stop and pick it up at the store.
Close enough for a walk to the beach but not necessarily pedestrian friendly - narrow shoulder, 35 MPH speed limit, blind corners.
Exterior is beautifully landscaped but poorly maintained.
Interior mostly clean - however the base of the shower curtain is moldy
The bathroom sink, as mentioned in an earlier review, drains slowly.
The kitchen is very functional but beware of the small table attached to the wall - very shaky- needs attention
Record collection is fun - good selection especially if you like jazz and using a turntable
Bikes are fun but condition is marginal. If you need to air up the tires, the compressor is great.
Found rodent droppings in the laundry area. Heard rodents scurrying about the attic space. We informed and even had a visit from management - the problem confirmed. Nothing happened. Scurrying continued throughout our 9 night stay.
Read all the reviews - I agree with most all of them.
All things considered, the Sea Slug is overpriced.
Its a ways from the beach, but an easy walk to and from the beach. Spacious enough to not feel crowded with 4 adults.
