  • Amazing

"Loved staying in this home so much.... Such a great lovely home right on the water..... The beach was incredible and so quiet ... We felt like we had our own private beach."

  • house was nice, listing was accurate, property was clean. I recommend this rental.

"It was a very great vacay, my family and I had the best time. House to the beach walk a minute, you can seriously do everything walking, store restaurant, shopping and train ride. It was very cool. John the owner guy, was very nice he talked on the phone with us and helped us to find many things to do. Like fishing, eating and things to see. He was generous and very accommodating. I would stay there again. The local people that live there year round were very nice and friendly. I felt safe in the neighborhood, I walked early by myself and didn't feel worried. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation. thanks john. it was the best. I want to go back."

  • Beautiful, relaxing, breathtaking!! Not enough words!!

"This property is beautiful!! It's a 3 story townhome with a view of the beach from every floor and the beach is literally steps away. The pictures are exactly as described and honestly probably don't do it justice! Everything we needed was in the home and it was very clean upon arrival. Probably one of the best well stocked home's I have rented. I'm already trying to figure out a time to go back!! Rockaway Beach is a quaint little gem of a town with great food within walking distance of the townhome. The only thing to be aware of is it is a 3 level townhome which means lots of stairs, I wasn't bothered by them but I know they were wearing out my mom and her friend a bit by the end of the day who are in their early 70's, but honestly they would go back again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend, owner was always in contact before during and after stay!!"

  • Lovely place - home away from home

"Well, this place was pretty amazing! It was elegantly decorated, FANTASTIC bathrooms and comfortable beds. Very clean - gorgeous view. SHORT walk to the beach. We brought our little dog and having the doggy bags right at beach entrance was really convenient. Covered parking was nice. Some things to consider: If you are bringing small children who like to explore, the front door opens from the inside... no way to lock it - so be aware of that. I have put in a suggestion that a dead-bolt be added. There is a unit above and you can hear their steps and flushing etc. The master bedroom is very near the road and being a country girl the sound and lights of the cars kept me awake. If you are planning to cook a lot (we didn't eat out once) some things you might want to bring include - sharp non-serrated knives, saran wrap and/or foil, small containers for leftovers and if you want to boil/cook anything in a pot that is larger than 2 quarts but smaller than 6 quarts you might need to bring a pot ;) Possibly extra blankets if you are a cold sleeper. Also if you are bringing a dog, be prepared to take them down the 3 flights of stairs every time they need to go out. Be aware that the front door sounds like it latches but might not be latched so test it... lest you want to leave your door open while you explore the outdoors. Overall LOVED our stay. I honestly wish we could have stayed 2 weeks!"
