Why Joey and Ron Richards chose Canyon Country & Northeast

We chose this property because we lived in Kingman, AZ and traveled many times to Williams, AZ to go fishing, browse through the antique shops, eat at the excellent restaurants and we just fell in love with the area.

What makes this house unique

This home is so unique because of the beautiful Knotty Pine walls throughout and the peacefulness we feel being surrounded by the trees and nature. It is a great escape from everyday life.

Absolutely wonderful mountain retreat

  • 5 of 5

We were so impressed with the attention to detail that Joey and Ron provided for our stay. From the minute we entered the cabin we knew we made the right choice. So warm and welcome, it made our trip to the Grand Canyon very special. The star gazing was amazing. Thanks to Joey and Ron for a wonderful time.

Perfect Location to explore Northern AZ!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was great! It was very clean and well equipped when we arrived. The open floor plan was very roomy and all 3 bedrooms were well situated. The best part about this place is the location. It's very easy to get to and just a couple of miles North of Williams, AZ which is the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon". It is 1 hour to the Grand Canyon National Park Visitor Center and 1 hour to Sedona. Flagstaff is about 1/2 hour to the East. PERFECT LOCATION for exploring Northern AZ. Williams is a historic town on the original Rt. 66 that has been well preserved. It's was like stepping back in time, with all of the history and great diners and restaurants. If you're considering visiting the Grand Canyon, stay here and be sure to visit Sedona and Williams too, you'll be glad that you did!

Very clean place, great location, close to the Grand Cayon.

  • 5 of 5

Again very clean place, would stay there again, I have no complaints. April talk to us 2 times, she brought over ice and spices, wildlife was good ( Roadrunners, Ravens, coyotes, And Javelina, I thought it was a wild Boar). Close to everything. Thanks to Joey for changing the dates for our vacation.

Amazing !

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying at the Knotty Pine. Waking up to the roosters and listening to the coyotes at night...dining at some amazing restaurants in town...relaxing in the cabin. It felt like home away from home. We want to come back again next year!

Very well kept, close to lots of fun things

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin was cozy, cute, comfortable and very well kept. If we're ever heading through this area in the future, this is definitely where we will stay. We loved every second!

Clean & Great Location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is VERY clean and the downstairs bed was very comfortable. Can't comment on the upstairs as we did not use (just two of us). The kitchen is well stocked. Internet is dodgy particularly in bad weather but good enough when not heavily storming for us to get online and figure out what to do for the day. We have T-Mobile cell which had spotty/poor service at the house. I was able to get some bars/service near the dining table. We were very happy at the cottage - it is a great place to hang out and recoup after a long day of trekking about. We did Bearizona (very close to the house - 15 min), Grand Canyon (1 hr away), Hoover Dam (3 hrs), Valley of Fire (4 hrs), Sunset Crater and Wupatki Nat'l Monument (1.5 hr), and Williams (15 min). Also, if you happen to be at the cottage on a clear night - look up!!! *Magnificent* view of the stars. Also we took April's recommendation for Francisco's (Mexican food) - delish! Thanks again!
