                  Relaxing Getaway

                  Susan S.

Four friends and I rented this property for ten days as a writing retreat. This location was fabulous for that and each of us is interested in coming back another time with our families. Ty was very helpful during the planning phase and during our stay.

We used five of the six bedrooms and bathrooms -- EVERY room has it's own private bath! Four of the rooms have jacuzzis which were amazing after a day of writing, and the basement rooms have showers that are wonderful -- no wimpy spray here! Each room had plenty of space, beds were comfortable, and there were a ton of amenities. The living room and basement areas are great for getting together and the kitchen has everything you need to cook almost anything you can think of.

The decor is comfortable and welcoming. There are plenty of places for people to get away from each other if that were needed -- chairs on the front porch look out on a hill where we saw several deer. The screened in back porch with a heater and a second refrigerator was a great place to sit and watch the sunrise, eat a meal, or just relax. With a pool table, a card table, two televisions in the main area, and tvs in the rooms with DVD players, one could stay there and never leave.

The property is very close to Silver Dollar City and Table Rock Lake so there are a ton of things to do in the area.

We were thrilled with the lodge and our retreat.

                  Family Christmas Trip

                  Beth S.

First and foremost, Ty was very helpful in everything. The lodge is very spacious, we had 14 people stay and everyone had enough room. The photos are a good indicator of how the lodge is set up and decorated. Ty had it beautifully decorated for Christmas which was absolutely wonderful. It happened to snow and sleet while we were there but the neighborhood street department had the roads clear in no time. Ty even let us check out late so the snow and ice could thaw. One thing to be aware of is there is not a lot of parking, everyone needs to park at an angle so more cars can fit. One tip is bring your own bath soap and extra paper towels, that is the only thing we needed, everything else is provided. I am sure if we had asked for soap and paper towels, Ty would have made sure they were provided. For such a minor detail, we chose not to call. Overall is was a wonderful home and nicely appointed. We will stay with Ty again!!!

Eagle's Nest was the perfect home away from home!

When you are the planner of a trip for a large group there is always a limb that you've walk out on. I was planning for 17 family members all with different needs and I was counting on the details of the website to be correct, since we had never stayed there before. Not only was it as stated, the owners have gone out of their way to have little extras there to meet their guests needs. Extra pillows, couch throws galore, even a booster seat for my grandson. It was clean & beautifully maintained. Some in our party had mobility issues and the ground floor worked perfect for them. Eagle's nest was perfect for all of us! We had large beds, privacy, large spaces for gathering, table seating for everyone, plenty of bathrooms & hot water for all, no shower timing necessary. We even had one person forget their hanging clothes and they had a plan for how to get those back to us. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

This was supposed to be a 5 star review but there was a problem with the system while the guest was trying to submit and she has been unable to get VRBO to change it. Here is the email thread for confirmation of the glitch, read from the bottom up, my email to her first inquiring why only the 2 stars....

Oh no! I was afraid of that, the stars wouldn't light up no matter how many times I tapped so I had no idea how many it would show. If I can redo let me know. I want y'all to get the full recognition your home deserves.

                  > Unfortunately the star rating is probably more important than the actual words to some of the travelers out there. If they see 2 stars, they might not even read the review....additionally, it will bring my overall rating down.

                  Youth group trip

This cabin was great for our youth group trip to Branson! We throughly enjoyed staying here.

A very good, but not perfect choice for multiple families

This 6 bedroom house accommodated ourselves and my 3 adult children's families very well. The extra refrigerator and the two zoned A/C were especially nice features. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils. The only negatives were the house is built on a steep slope and there was no place for my grandkids to play outside around the house. However, this was offset by a good sized swimming pool with slides and a playground area. But you had to drive to it. The other issue is its location necessitated timing your local travel with the Silver Dollar City traffic.

                  ❤️ my Branson vacation
