This bright and spacious one bedroom lower suite has its own separate garden entrance and courtyard. This newly renovated 1910 century home is located just minutes from the heart of downtown in one of the most charming and quiet areas of Calgary. Walk, ride or train to any of Calgary's attractions easily from this centrally located cottage. The lower suite bedroom is a well appointed luxurious space with a queen bed. The living room has a sectional that opens to a double bed for extra guests. The spacious kitchen has all appliances and lots of room for eating at the table. The back courtyard has a BBQ and quaint table with chairs to enjoy the morning and afternoon sun. Groceries, liquor, and baking are available from either local/organic shops or large chains only a block away. The bright living area has large SMART TV, stereo, and electric fireplace. The bathroom is like a spa with heated floors and spacious tub and shower. The laundry room is located centrally for both upper and lower units use. The location is ideal for any stay in Calgary as it is as central as you get while remaining nestled in a cozy neighbourhood community.

A quaint convenient suite in the heart of the city

We loved staying at this place in the Sunnyside neighbourhood in Calgary. Two blocks to the Bow river and downtown. Fun neighbourhood close to many shops and restaurants. Beautiful trails along the river. We even walked to the Stampede parade. The unit is very well kept and comfortable. Nice touches with amenities, decor and kitchen supplies. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great place in the city.

Nice apartment in the basement of an older house in the community of Sunnyside. The bed was really comfortable, it was furnished simply and adequately for our needs for the 4 days we were there. The owners were prompt to respond to our emails. We loved walking around the neighborhood; there is a cafe and supermarket nearby and its an easy walk to downtown.

Nice cottage near Prince's Island and Bow River Paths and CTrain.

The basement suite was perfect for us, a young family of four. The owners have done a great job in remodeling and supplying this property. The fenced in yard was nice. It was very convenient for us being near downtown and public transportation.

Comfortable and charming

We really enjoyed our brief stay. The apartment is comfortable and well-furnished. Good wifi reception. Everything nice and clean. Convenient private entrance. Very nice residential city neighborhood for walking around, finding shops. And we (and our dogs) loved the enclosed little back yard.

I'm generally not one for staying in cities when I travel, but this location was excellent.
