The perfect getaway. We were looking for something nice, peaceful and comfortable while providing a great opportunity to enjoy and explore the nature and beauty of the coast. This beach house did not disappoint. The home was well appointed with everything you would possibly need for a visit. We cooked, grilled and never wanted for anything. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. There were a couple different living areas and members of our family found their niche location to hang out. The views were amazing! Eating dinner in the dining room with the panoramic window view of the ocean was magical. Overall, this was one of the best stays we have had and I'm greatfull for the owner for the such a wonderful place.

My sister and I have been here a few times before, and this is a wonderful place. Clean, well equiped, and super welcoming. Heather and her brother are great hosts! So responsive and helpful. Hope to be back soon!

Amazing setting!

Our family loved our stay in this traditional northern californian beach house. We played games, did puzzles and saw amazing birds from the very comfortable family room. The kitchen was updated and well equipped to feed our crew. Very comfortable beds. And an easy walk to the beautiful Agate beach.

Wonderful family vacation in Bolinas with stunning views

What a gem. We had a fantastic family holiday in Bolinas. The views from the property are amazing. Very clean house and very well-equipped kitchen. The adults really enjoyed the great audio system, the kids loved the motorized TV stand to 'hide the TV'. Thank you Heather for the great communication and tips reg. the area. We hope to be back soon.

Wow, wow, wow

I’ve stayed in many properties in the Ballina area for the last 15 years and this is my favorite. The location is outstanding with beautiful views of the ocean. The kitchen was highly functional and the house has spacious areas to hang out in. It has a great family room where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and ocean views.. I will definitely rent this house again.

This one is about location…

The view is amazing. Sitting in the dining room or living room with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea was the highlight of our stay. The property is walking distance from a beautiful walk by the ocean and driving distance from amazing day hikes. We stayed during Christmas so most of Bolinas was shut down. We arrived too late to try the store close by. The nearest grocery store open was 40 minutes away. But this drive in is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked so we were able to make meals for 5 adults easily. The appliances all worked well. The host was very helpful and responded quickly. Easy communication. Easy check-in. Don’t be like us…make sure to download or print out check in info before getting into Bolinas (T-Mobile doesn’t work well out there). Wifi was spotty because of a storm, which is to be expected. But the wifi works well when there is no storm. The vibe is more cabin like. The only critic we have is regarding cleanliness…the place is older, musty and could use a good deep clean but at least we had everything we needed to clean up what we could. We always like to leave a property in top shape. It was rainy and we tried to be as clean as possible but with only a tiny mat at the entrance it was quite impossible. All in all it was a good spot. We would definitely stay again!

Better than the online Pictures!

Our stay at the house in Bolinas was amazing! It was spacious, cozy, and well equipped with all the appliances and cookware you will need. The hosts were great to work with and even reached out to make sure we were aware of the situation when there was a 60–70-year rare tsunami predicted for the area. The very best part are the Amazing views all around the property. You can see the ocean in 3 directions. And the sunsets were gorgeous. It was a 5 minute drive into Bolinas with coffee shop, market, beach, restaurants and nice locals! We loved this place.

Just a dream!

Nostalgic coastal cabin with modern amenities, lots of room, views! Family owned with supportive hosts. Highly recommend for a week if you can. Surfing and boogie boarding at Bolinas and Stinson beach, horseback riding at Five Brooks Ranch. Coastal cafe in Bolinas, kitchen is greatly outfitted. A favorite for sure.

Best R&R I've had in a long time

I've tried to think of a way to explain this little slice of heaven in Bolinas and it is tough to put into words but here goes. The house itself has charm and character which I totally appreciated. The location is in this little community that people are out walking there dogs, people wave and say hello as you sit on this awesome deck facing the Pacific. I read the story of the owners that bought this home I believe back in the late 60's or early 70's for a weekend home out of the city and honestly it just made this place that much more cozy and comfortable. Everything you need is there, fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils for cooking and I mean everything. We shopped at the little store in Bolinas for our grocery needs, I like to keep my purchases local to the community when I travel. It was so nice to be able to keep the windows open during the night and hear the ocean below and feel safe, that makes this place a total gem for me. This place is great for some R&R or family vacation or a place to just disconnect. I would stay again if I make my way back to the area.

A perfect spot

The Bolinas house was just perfect- beautiful vistas, plenty of unique spots to be alone and to be together, and very responsive hosts. The house was comfortable and well appointed with a perfect location for hikes, beach and access to the north bay.

Amazing location.

We could not have stayed at a better beach house. Every amenity is right there for you. I will always remember the breathtaking views from every corner of the home. I can’t believe all the different types of birds we saw. We can’t wait to come back again.
