Strategically placed on the edge of tall woods this home takes advantage of it's beautiful surroundings by featuring floor to ceiling windows so our guests can enjoy nature from both the outside and the inside. Often you will see deer, wild turkey, fox, and birds of all colors! The home features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, bright great room, full length deck with grill, large family room, pool table, and games for the little ones. Gather around the cozy fireplace or outdoor fire pit with family and friends.

You will have access to the Galena Territory Owners' Club and all it's amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, game room, fitness center, gym, tennis and basketball courts, and more.

We had a great time at the cabin. The house is set up for fun, even on a rainy day. Pool table, games and an incredible selection of movies are at your fingertips.The pool at the clubhouse is very nice, too.

The host was very thoughtful and accommodating! We were traveling over Thanksgiving and they asked if they could confirm any kitchen tools needed to prepare the meal, or anything else needed to make our stay special. She also warned us about some snow on the way and looked out for our safety on the curvy roads during the storm. The house was clean and well appointed for the holiday and even had some Christmas decor to make it festive!

Great getaway

This is a perfect cabin for a larger group, great accommodations, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very secluded feel, but still close enough to everything!

This was a beautiful cabin in the woods, very secluded and quiet. Easy drive into Galena. The kids loved the pool!

We had a great time at this house! Plenty of cooking and eating space in the kitchen and the kids really enjoyed the play area. Located so close to the pool and golf course and just a short drive into downtown Galena and over to Iowa.

An absolute oasis

We had to families with 4 kids at this property and it was absolutely magical. It was a beautiful home with ample space and after the kids went to bed the adults sat on the deck and watched the starts!!

Great Girls Getaway

We had a great time in Galena and enjoyed our stay at Boulder Creek. The open concept first floor was great for hanging out and eating meals. The basement entertainment area was perfect for hanging out, watching TV and playing games.

As a result you will find a chic melodic tone flowing through our home! Though our schedules still keep us on the go we are working hard to free up as much time as possible to enjoy our vacation home. When we can’t do that, we invite others to enjoy it in our place and feed our wildlife friends.

Why they chose this property

We love the outdoors, hiking, and nature of all variety. Galena and its surrounding area provide a treasure of nature preserves and hiking trails. Pioneering is never disappointing! We are always discovering new areas and bountiful unspoiled lands to explore. The business exec among us is happiest when on the golf course and when we found an area that provided both, in generous measure, we knew we found our paradise. Our interest in genealogy and local history is fed by Galena’s many historic sites, and you’ll find a montage of our ancestors gracing a wall upstairs.

What makes this property unique

Every vantage point whether on the inside or the outside of our home, offers a panorama of tall woods that change with every season. We could not have chosen a better spot to relax, savor our limited free time, commune with nature and appreciate the wildlife that we love so much. Boulder Creek is certified as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
