Relax and recharge at Nuestra Casita Cerca del Mar

Designed and built by well known Mexican American architect Roberto Moreno in 2000. Beautiful custom built 3 bedroom, 2 bath tri-level beach home featuring magnificent 180 degree ocean views, a main level terrace, and a roof level patio. Master bedroom features a king bed and en suite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms have a queen, a double and a single bed.

The floor plan is very open and light. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and pots and pans, coffee maker and linens. There is a dishwasher, toaster oven, blender and microwave. Gas BBQ is available.

Las Gaviotas feels like a small Mediterranean village. Established in 1973, this gated community has 24 hour guards and is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on all of Baja. The cobblestone coastal walk way features fountains, gardens, a putting green, access to two private beaches, tidepools at low tide, and sweeping ocean views. A newly resurfaced tennis court is available to guests, as well as poolside shuffle board and beach volley ball on the private beach.

Great place. Exactly as described. Park across the street for the kids. All the ex pat neighbors know the home owner and love her. Great times and a great vibe!

Easy access and great location

This location is close enough to the US border that it's not a crazy drive, but far enough away that you don't deal with all the traffic and people. It is also easy to find/get to. I took my family for a week to enjoy surfing and the beach, and we got plenty of both. Having a gated community made me feel safer, and it was great being able to wake up each day and walk down to a private beach.

Gaviotas Gem

The house is in a great location, the next best thing to being ocean front. You can see the break from the decks and it is a short walk to the water front. The house is well stocked, cutely decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay

We have stayed at Gaviotas many times over the years and this is one of our favorites of all time. The unit is super clean, cutely decorated, well stocked and has amazing views. The owner communicated well and made our stay super easy. We will definitely be back!

Excellent!

One of the nicest and well-stocked of all the homes I’ve stayed in at Gaviotas. Very comfortable and clean as well as easy to get to and from the beach. We had a perfect weekend here!

Beautiful community

I would definitely stay here again!! The house was a lot bigger in person, very spacious for a group of 6, clean, the beach and pool are a short walk away, the ocean view from the rooftop is beautiful, the community itself has a Spanish colonial style, and it is gated with strict guards which makes you feel 100% safe. You can find food vendors at the pool area, the seafood vendor has fresh seafood and fruits, and they accept apple pay!! Overall it was a great place to stay.

great time had by all

Stayed at this beautiful location for a get away with my family. We had a great time and the place is wonderful. Very comfortable ( the beds are fantastic) and the kitchen is the best I have had in any of my previous VBRO's. The surroundings are the best with a great view that you never get tired of looking at. Can't wait to go back

Wonderful time

Our family had a relaxing time staying at Cindy's home. The place was clean and well maintained. Views were spectacular and the complex had all the amenities that our kids enjoyed. We will definitely be back.

What a wondeful casita! Perfect getaway.

My family had a wonderful time in Cindy's casita. Upon arrival I noticed the casita was very clean. We had all that we needed and more to relax and enjoy our stay. The casita is perfectly decorated and there is no doubt you are at a beach house. Would rent from Cindy again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Location!

Highly recommend. Gated community. The rooftop view is outstanding. About 15 mins from Papas & Beer Rosarito area & about 5 mins from seafood locations.

Baja Home Away from Home

Nuestra Casita Cerca Del Mar is a true gem. This home is colorful, comfortable and clean. The view from the living room, patio and top deck is amazing. The house is perfectly appointed, everything you need from cooking to relaxing is there. The owner is wonderful to work with. Our family has stayed in the home many times, and will stay many more!

Great location and view

Cindy's place is close to the beach access, pool, and the entrance to Gaviotas. It is however far enough away from the highway, so no road noise. The view from the top deck is beautiful and a perfect spot to relax and have drinks. The inside of the house was clean and has everything needed for an extended stay. I would absolutely rent from Cindy again.

Stunning Rooftop Patio View

My family (71 year-old Mother, husband, and three children -7,5,2) vacationed in Las Gaviotas for 4 nights. The house is well -organized and very pretty. We loved the rooftop patio view of the ocean! The host Cindy was very quick to respond, which made our stay comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again in the future!

Amazing Vacation

Stayed here last week, and the set-up was amazing. Its central to the Gaviotas property, basically situated right between the pool and the private beach. Roof top deck was great to check the surf, and enjoy evening cocktails with the wife. Property is also really kid friendly, and there's security everywhere, so super safe for the family. There are three sizable bedrooms, so both of our kids had their own rooms (yes!). I would definitely recommend staying here, and will be back in the near future.

Great time

Had a great time celebrating my birthday here with my friends. The home is beautiful and spacious with a great view of the ocean. The security are very helpful they had taxis ready for us all you had to do was ask and they would call one over. There's a store across the street with everything you need. Overall it was a great getaway thank you Cindy

Love this spot

My family of 5 loved this place! It was a nice touch having a 5 gallon water dispenser for drinking. The kitchen was well equipped. It was helpful to have little chip clips too. Ha the mom in me was happy to see those. :) The location was great. Easy to get to the beach, tennis courts and the kids loved having the park right across the way. The beds were comfortable too. We would love to come back.

Nice spot in Las Gaviotas

Our stay in Cindy's property was very enjoyable. The house was set up nicely and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The balcony and upper deck were a bit smaller than we hoped but we were still able to enjoy "drinks at sunset". Cindy was easy to work with and very responsive to the few questions and issues we were concerned about like the oven beeping and a small ceiling leak (which we were told is being repaired). Las Gaviotas is a fun place to spend a few days although you must abide by the number of visitor rules (even additional day guests are not allowed).

Very cute, colorful condo

My family and I went to Nuestra Casita for a weekend. We were very impressed with the house. The pictures do not give it justice. The house is filled with color and some very cute things. There is a king bed with a TV downstairs that was perfect for my wife and I. There was a bunk bed perfect for the kids and a queen room for grandma. The rooftop area was perfect for sunsets and sunrises. Las Gaviotas is very much Americanized, but you can get some Mexican culture easily. Very easy to get to and very clean when we arrived. I would definitely recommend!
