Rural slice of heaven

We had a wonderful stay in this rustic house with a fantastic pool. The hosts were brilliant and sorted any problems with speed. The surrounding area is charming and full of beautiful towns and attractions.

We had a nice holiday after the first couple of days sorting out missing items, some grimey kitchen stuff & dirty outdoor furniture (spiders nests under outdoor table). Lovely pool (hole in one corner of liner covered by duct tape) & garden with lots of trees providing shady areas. Beware screws sticking up in decking, loose tiles & rickety gate. Garden needed work as lots of dead plants. Double room in cottage very dirty & full of spiders & webs. Requested them to clean that room after the first night, which they did. Missing parasols (provided after request) No fans in bedrooms (provided after request). Kitchen stocked well of most items needed but only 3 dinner knives (more provided after request). BBQ was disgusting, we bought grills to cook on. Shutters & windows of bedrooms could be opened but sound of ripping spider webs put one off doing this. In between windows and shutters has not been cleaned for years! Only 1 shower cubicle in attic. 1 hand shower (no screen or curtain) in bath on 1st floor. 1 shower over bath with screen in small cottage. Overall a lot of maintenance & thorough cleaning required. It's in the country so insects expected but what we found was unacceptable! As we were leaving the owners told us we had to clean or pay them 150 to do this. No mention of this in details or on arrival. Owners got very unpleasant when we disagreed. Description of house is misleading. Not waterfront, no a/c except 2 x portable units in attic. Overall a shame really.

Les -La maison est grande et agréable, en 2 parties bien séparées-Belle piscine, bien sécurisée pour les enfants-Matériel enfant disponible (Baignoire bébé, lit bébé, chaise haute)-Propriétaires gentils et réactifs-Grande table sous une tonnelle, pratique pour un grand groupe-Chaque maison a une salle de bains et des WC-Grand barbecue-Beaucoup d'arbres, ce qui est très agréable en été quand il fait chaudLes --Le gros point noir du séjour a été la propreté. La maison était très sale, que ce soit le sol ou les accessoires. Il y avait de nombreuses traces (notamment de pas) ou poussière au sol, et tous les ustensiles de cuisine et couverts étaient sales. Nous avons retrouvé des morceaux de pizza sur une assiette, certains ustensiles avaient de la crasse incrustée (pince à pâtes noire), la hotte de cuisine était extrêmement sale, entre autres choses. Les tapis étaient sales et une chambre sentait le chien. Le ménage était dans l'ensemble très insuffisant. La propriétaire a été honnête et s'est excusée en proposant de ne pas nous faire payer les frais de ménage.-Bien que le maison soit dans l'ensemble très bien équipée, certains équipements sont vétustes et mériteraient d'être changés. Par exemple, la chaise bébé n'est pas sécurisée (pas de ceinture), ou certains ventilateurs fonctionnels mais très vieux et bruyants les rendant peu utilisables.Un très bel endroit et des propriétaires gentils, mais un grand ménage et un entretien plus régulier serait indispensable.

Excellent séjour, nous y étions avec nos enfants et petits-enfants d'âge très différents ; tout le monde y a trouvé sa place et s'y est senti bien. Les maisons sont confortables et décorées avec goût. Les vieilles pierres ajoutent le charme de l'ensemble. Les différents "coins" ( piscine, ping-pong, repas...) permettent à un grand groupe de fonctionner facilement. L'accueil et la communication avec Mme Bousquet sont très agréables et simples. Merci pour l'ensemble de la prestation !!

Très beau séjour en famille

Vieille maison au milieu d'arbres, très agréable, spacieuse avec beaucoup de cachet. Même si quelques équipements sont un peu vintage, le reste est tres complet pour nous satisfaire. Le cadre est tres agréable et avec la piscine nous avons passé un séjour formidable, et nous avons fait plein de découvertes découvertpledecm

Rapport qualité prix plus que satisfaisant Literie de qualité, plusieurs espaces extérieurs pour profiter du jardin, grande piscine chauffée, plusieurs frigos, suffisamment de matériel pour un grand groupe dans la cuisine. Seul bémol, il faut faire plusieurs kilomètres pour les visites, mais la région veut ça. Ne vous fiez pas aux photos, c'est mieux sur place

Superbes vacances dans un cadre de rêve et une région magnifique !
