Peaceful retreat with great View

  • 5 of 5

Nice little cabin with a beautiful view of the Marina and the lake. We came after dark and had no problem getting in. The studio apartment was very neat. It was handy to have the microwave refrigerator and coffee maker. Very easy access to Coeur d'Alene. Definitely would stay again.

Very Small and looked like a child cleaned it

  • 1 of 5

For the price was still not worth it. Bed looked like the cover was just thrown on. Tv was held up by a movie so it would not fall. No plates and if you wanted to wash anything you had to do it in the sink that is used for bathroom. Was greeted by a Huge spider in shower. The alarm went off when I took a shower. That was awkward. Two pillows on bed and one was so flat it should be thrown out. Just didn’t feel clean. Stain on carpet and not sure if it was pet pee or something else. Would I stay again? No.

If I am paying for a view I would say it’s just ok. You can see some of the lake but have to look amongst the trees. Stairs are definitely Steep. You have to walk on broken concrete in a short area.

Cozy & Romantic

  • 4 of 5

My husband & I loved staying here & sitting outside at night on the little deck watching the stars and lights reflecting of the lake.

The studio is small & cozy but perfect for outdoor lovers with the Lake & the Centennial trail below. Just a short hop from downtown CDA and all the restaurants but enough off the beaten track to be peaceful. We will want to stay here again when visiting family in CDA.

Cozy, clean, quiet, comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and me. It's close to tons of fantastic restaraunts, downtown, and "thrift store alley" on 4th street. We felt we got the true Coeur'd'elane experience without the hassle or expense of a hotel. Thank you!

Disappointed

  • 1 of 5

Pictures do not show how impassable stairs/path are. Lake is quite far away. There is no way to walk to it. It's straight up and down.

Property dirty and not kept up.

Lots of road noise.

This pic appears photo shopped. Lake is over a cliff and across a highway. Yard was scattered w dog feces.

Owner's Response: I think this review is a result of not carefully reading the property listing before booking. As mentioned in the property listing three times as well as the photos and the welcome email the stairs down to the cabin are VERY steep! I definitely want people to be aware of this prior to booking. I haven't had the complaint that they are impassable ever before, but if anyone needs a video or different photos prior to booking I'd be more than happy to provide. Also mentioned in the property listing is the fact that the lake a .5 mile walk down to the trail on CDA lake drive. The cabin does sit on the edge of a cliff so you can't just walk straight over the cliff to the lake you have to go around. I'd charge more if I had direct lake access! CDA Lake Drive does run below the house and it can be busy in the summer, but I haven't had any other complaints about that, but I definitely can add that to the listing details. My husband does need to go on poop patrol! We do allow dogs and have had some visitors not pick up and might be a bit behind. Will definitely address. We did not Photo Shop any of our pictures. The place isn't fancy, but pictures are accurate. If any of the items in this review stand out to you and make you reconsider booking please don't hesitate to call or email me prior to booking so we can discuss. I'm always happy to do a live FaceTime of the place and will try to add a YouTube link to the listing to add detail ASAP. Thanks!
