Beautiful Couer d'Alene

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was very comfortable with a great view of the lake. We came to cycle and the apartment was perfect with easy access onto the surrounding country roads above Couer d'Alene as well as to I90 to get to the Trail of the Couer d'Alene. The weather was hot but the window air conditioner was adequate to keep the temperature reasonable at night. The apartment is private and separated from the main house which is nice. Owners are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, cozy studio

  • 5 of 5

We were in town just for the weekend for a wedding, my girlfriend and I. The renter was very easy to work with, especially given that we made the reservation short notice. She was also receptive to feedback, which I always appreciate. Beautiful view of the lake.

Great location & welcoming hosts

  • 4 of 5

I really enjoyed my stay at this cottage. The area is very quiet. The room was quite basic, but it had everything a person would need for a short visit - a comfortable bed, hot shower, mini fridge and microwave with coffee pot and coffee fixings. The view over the bay and marina area was beautiful and it was just a short walk down to the waterfront pathway which is part of the Ironman Coeur d'Alene route and very scenic. The hostess, Jennifer, went out of her way to answer all of my questions and accommodate my needs. Contrary to a note from a previous traveler, the lights from the Marina were just a twinkle in the distance, and were of no concern. There was also a heavy curtain over the window that could be closed if wanted.(Maybe the lights are brighter during the high season?) A note to the mobility challenged, though. The steps/path to the cottage are quite steep and can be tricky in the dark. There was a lovely deck that I imagine would be a great place to spend an evening during summer months.

Everything we could have asked for :)

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely amazing view to wake up to. Everything was very clean. Totally enjoyed our stay. Was very nice to have a variety of movies to watch, the few kitchen utensils were nice to have as well. I had forgot a bottle opener, and there was one in the utensils. Coffee for the morning was great. We could not have asked for anything more for our stay. Thank you very much for making this an experience of a lifetime for my better half and myself. After dinner at the Wolf lodge, our drive was literally a few minutes away. Love the location!!!
