An unBELIZEable home...Barefoot beachfront luxury!!!

We love Casa Layla! Such a beautiful house with every amenity you could want. Brittany was so accommodating and helpful with plans and Tatiana and Daniel were amazing! We could not have enjoyed the house more for our group of 12!

If you are looking for a luxury vacation home on Ambergris Caye this is it. Spacious rooms,comfortable furniture,well equipped kitchen. The pool is large and lovely. We enjoyed the kayaks and snorkeling at the reef right in front of the house. Wi-fi,TVs and sound system were great. It is a bit far from San Pedro Town but there are nearby restaurants and bars and very close to Secret Beach. Tatiana and Daniel were great. Only complaint is no access to the laundry room. We would like to have been able to wash and dry the beach towels everyday without bothering Tatiana.

Pros....there was plenty of room in this large home for family and friends to come and go. The pool was wonderful and was cleaned for us everyday The beach was warm and sandy Daniel came almost everyday to rake that nasty sea grass out Kayaks and pool toys worked well. Location is great for walking the beach and to restaurants Having the additional ice maker helped keep the drinks cold Beds were comfortable and clean

Cons.......that being said be prepared to bring everything needed to do any type of cooking. We rent villas so we don’t have to eat out all the time most are stocked with the basics for the kitchen. No salt and pepper no cooking oil no napkins no sugar no flour no tin foil or plastic wrap When we got there the dishwasher had the last guests dishes in it which we had to empty. NOT cool. Counters and floors were dirty with sticky spill stains everywhere. We enjoy cooking together very disappointed that nothing in the outdoor kitchen worked Would have been great to not have to run back into the house every time you wanted to refresh your cocktail Grill was a mess even the garbage can out there was broke When you pay this price to rent a villa everything should be in exceptional condition and clean Guests should not have to clean appliances etc before being used

My husband and I rented Casa Layla for our wedding in March. Brittany was really helpful with connecting us with local vendors and renting us golf carts. Tatiana was wonderful to answer questions throughout our stay--and we had a lot! My only regret is that we didn't ask her to cook for us, which other reviewers have said was a good choice. We did, however, get some local caterers (Chefs for Hire) to cook dinner for the wedding reception. They were able to jump right into the kitchen and made an incredible meal for the guests.

It was so nice to have the private dock. We used it for water taxi rides to/from San Pedro and for a pickup to a catamaran snorkel tour we had booked one of the days.

We had 14 people in the house, but it felt plenty spacious with the outdoor and rooftop space. We had about 4 guests in each bedroom, so that might have felt tight to some who are used to their privacy. And some of our guests stayed right next door at La Perla del Caribe, which was perfect.

The days flew by, and we were never short on entertainment around the house. The music system is awesome once you figure it out. And our Spotify playlists worked on it! The pool, dock, and rooftop are all incredible. It's a once-in-a-lifetime rental, and I highly recommend it.

The property is beautiful and very well kept. If you're there as a group to just hang out peacefully this place is perfect. There are several resorts you can walk or take a golf cart to and everything else on the island is just an easy water taxi away. Tatiana (caretaker) made some of the best food you could imagine and she took care of whatever we needed. It's a little off the beaten path but perfect for couples or a family trip where you just want to get away.
