We enjoyed our stay so much! The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation. You can’t beat the location, within walking distance of the marina, and downtown area. The vibe and decor of the home was perfect, and those big windows gave the best view of Lake Pepin. The kitchen and amenities were everything you could need and more. We hope to be back next summer!

Could be the best location in Lake City. Water views on 2 sides from a screened in Porch were just what we were looking for. With temps in the 80s, it helped that the porch was on the north side of the house. The park directly across the street provided easy access to what appeared to be the only beach in town. House was well equipped with everything we needed.

The views were amazing, including the sunrises, sunsets & bald eagles! very quiet area & very walkable to everything. there was no hot tub as noted but temps outside were hot that week. only suggestion would be for better beds, the mattresses were very hard so it was painful sleeping for me.

Anniversary Getaway

This is a lovely cottage right on Lake Pepin with beautiful autumn views of the lake. We really appreciate that it was in walking distance of downtown and could enjoy the stores and restaurants that Lake City had to offer.

I liked the style of the house, it was comfortable with great views of lake. I was able to bike, walk, and because I was envious of people fishing, I booked a guide and caught lots of fish. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Good for a fall getaway

Great location directly on tthe river, with only a small quiet street to cross. Quaint small town walkable. Short drive to the National Eagle center. House had a lot of old-timey character but clean and well equipped.

It is a short 40 minute drive to all the beauty and energy the river has to offer! My husband is an architect and I am a real estate broker with a degree in interior design. We have been involved in the renovation of real estate for years.

We have loved spending weekends with our family and friends in Lake City for years and fell in love with this property and it's fabulous location! After beginning renovation to the home in January, we are finally ready to share it with guests. It is our hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
