We were very pleased with our stay at the Surf Club apt B-14. The only thing I didn’t like was that there is only one Smart Tv in the household(living room).There was supposed to be cable for the other TVs but I never could get them to work. That definitely didnt affect our stay tho! I loved the short walk to the beach and that it was a private beach. Location of the apartment was great and the locals were very friendly. Overall loved being on Dauphin Island. We will definitely be back!

Condo was clean. It had everything if you wanted to cook.The homeowner are pretty much the host in the area. They are all very friendly if you respect the property. Pool is well kept. They have a person come in every few days to maintain and clean. It is a very family friendly condo. I would highly recommend. I have stayed here more that once and have had great experiences each time staying.

Rhonda, host, was great, she was responsive to the questions we had(even the silly one). Condo was super clean, very roomy with plenty of comfortable furniture and beautiful decorated. There was also a closet full of beach chairs and toys available for use, such a nice extra, especially if you don’t travel with all the “beach stuff” like we do. Downstairs full time resident was lovely and so understanding of our littles above her! Condo grounds and outside of bldgs. were adequately maintained and pool was wonderful. Boardwalk to beach was in excellent condition and was super nice not to trek so far in the sand, great bonus. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents.

It was such a peaceful place to stay! My kids enjoyed both the pool and the beach. It was wonderful having private access to the beach and not having to deal with over crowding. The beds were comfy, lots of space for my kids to spread out and even met some wonderful locals! We will definitely be going back!

This place was really nice for the price. There was plenty of room and sleeping areas. There is a sidewalk that takes you directly to the pool and the beach which was our favorite part. We didnt even need shoes to walk to the beach and back! The pool was lovely and the beach was beautiful. This condo is close to everything you need on the island. The ferry and fort are near and the little shops and seafood market is right down the road. The TVs had working cable, the bathrooms and showers work fine and the beds are comfy. Thanks for an awesome get away!

This was the perfect place for a low key family vacation with 4 kids. The set up was great for us. The kids loved the pool and it was so accessible to the unit. It is also so close to all of the islands amenities.

Kitchen equipped adequately. Bathrooms have some needed repairs (small holes in Sheetrock) and some shoddy repair work in one. Also some apparent water damage in a AC vent pipe had some bad repair work. Disappointed we didn’t have a view of the beach. Furnishings are good. It’s nicely decorated and a good floor plan.

Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time in the area. The condo is spacious, the kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, and the washer and dryer were a huge plus. The front bedroom mattress was very comfortable, and the private beach and pool were enjoyable amenities.That said, the condo would benefit from some routine maintenance and a few updates. Much of the furniture and flooring are showing their age, and there were a few minor maintenance items that could be addressed to improve the overall guest experience. None of these prevented us from enjoying our stay, but refreshing the space would make it feel much more inviting.Future guests should also know that the condo is on the second floor, so there is a flight of stairs to navigate with luggage and beach gear. The beach is certainly walkable, but it's a bit farther than we expected from the listing description, especially when carrying chairs and coolers.Rhonda was pleasant to work with, and we appreciated having the opportunity to stay in her condo. With a little attention to some maintenance items and a few affordable updates, this property has tremendous potential and could easily become an even more enjoyable vacation rental. We wish Rhonda all the best and thank her for sharing her home with us.

Very nice condo, better than photos on VRBO. Comfortable and well furnished. Newer appliances and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.
