This is a quiet amazing community, with great neighbors.
My family has owned this property since the 1960's and were one of the first members of the community to knock down their War time home and built and develop. I have kept the property in the family and fully renovated the suites.
I love the location of this property and all it's restaurants and shops. There are many small yoga studios and gyms within walking distance. I love the quick walk to the river and the large amazing trees that fill the community with scattered nests in their branches.
Well located with nearby access to Kensington Village and Downtown. North Hill Shopping Centre was a 5 minute drive north with large supermarket, liquor store, drug store and restaurants. A bonus was being able to park our car outside the property. Quiet street with neighbourly feel. Accommodation was fairly spacious with good sized comfortable rooms which were cool in the hot weather. It was nice to have the decking with table and chairs at the front so we could sit outside and "watch the world go by". The property was well equipped with all the necessary domestic appliances and accessories and it was good to have cleaning and laundry materials, loo rolls, etc provided. Traci was very helpful and on hand to answer any queries, as were the residents above. Would recommend it to any couple or family requiring two bedrooms with wifi, TV and a good selection of games, films and books. This was our base for a relaxing 3 weeks away from the UK in August 2016. Thoroughly recommendable.
I thought the property was going to be a lot smaller based off the pictures but it was very spacious and tons of room (had 4 to 6 guests plus 2 kids).
We were amazed by the location and very close to downtown and shopping centres.
We would definitely come stay again and recommend this property.
Traci's place was just perfect for what we were looking for. Very spacious, centrally located and very well equipped with everything we needed.
This was a beautiful, well furnished, clean and lovely vacation rental. The full kitchen and bar-be-cue allowed me to cook each evening and enjoy coffee at home in the mornings. It was a spacious and fabulous place to spend 4 nights.
This place is conveniently located as the heading suggests. It has everything you could want for a temporary stay. Our 3 weeks here was very enjoyable, a home away from home. Traci was very helpful, more than willing to address any concerns. She replaced pot light bulbs when we mentioned a few were out, asked if we needed anything, and went way above and beyond the call of duty to get something to us that we had left behind.
We particularly enjoyed walking in this old neighborhood, cable with tons of channels, an extra large living room to entertain guests, lots of shelving and drawer space, and a very efficient washer/dryer. The front deck with table and chairs would be nice in the summer as well. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone, including families as there are two bedrooms and plenty of space. We would stay here again.
Traci's home was nicely furnished and comfortable. We really liked all the reclining couches. But the best thing about this property is its location. A short, straightforward drive or reasonable walk to most of Calgary's sights and other interesting locations such as Kensington (restaurants and shops), Elbow River Park, even downtown Calgary. We had a really enjoyable visit.
