3 bedroom 2 bath that accommodates up to 12 comfortably!!

Rent this wonderful three bedroom, two bathroom home that is three blocks from Cowboy Stadium, 1/2 mile from Texas Rangers Stadium, and One mile from Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. During events at the two stadiums, bicycle taxis are plentiful for those that don't want to walk.

This home is in a very quiet community with large shade trees, a large backyard and clean streets. It has all the comforts of home! There is a front porch that faces the field of a Private school that is nicely landscaped as well as a back patio that is private with a comfortable garden area.

This is an older home with many updates. The home sleeps 11-12 people comfortably (King bed, Queen bed, Twin bed with Trundle, Queen roll-away bed in couch, Queen futon in living room, and 2 additional twin beds in the washroom/utility room. There is a ceiling fan in every room, as well as a window a/c unit and ceramic heating unit in the utility room for extra comfort. There are two bathrooms, one with a full size tub and shower with two shower heads. The other has a 48' wide walk in shower. There is a tankless water heater, so no cold showers for anyone!!! 2 blow dryers & a hair straightener are provided and light toiletries are provided.(shampoo, creme rinse, q-tips, cotton balls, makeup remover pads) There is central air and heat. An iron and ironing board are also provided. Each room has a power strip available for charging of cell phones or additional plug in needs.

The home is artfully decorated. The kitchen has an electric stove, full refrigerator, microwave, 4 pce. toaster, a coffee pot, Keurig one cup coffeemaker, toaster oven, blender and waffle maker. Filtered water dispenser is available, so need to spend extra cash on bottled water. Cable TV and Wireless Internet are provided, as well as a DVD player. The patio area has a cooler to ice down drinks, two sitting areas with tables and chairs...also a charcoal bar-b-que grill to grill your burgers or steaks on...or whatever you please! A radio boom box is available for use on the patio, as well.

Although in a quiet community, you are only blocks away from lots of shopping and restaurants. You are in the heart of the entertainment district of Arlington. 15 minutes from DFW Int'l airport and 25 minutes from Dallas Love Field. You are in the center of the DFW Metroplex, with easy access to all the sites in both Dallas and Ft. Worth.

An attached garage ensures security for your vehicle. There is plenty of room to park up to 5 midsize vehicles on the property (one in garage, two in driveway and two on street under the shade of a large tree)

There is a Walmart that has a grocery store three blocks away, and a Walgreens two blocks away, as well as a carwash just around the corner. Retail stores include Bed, Bath and Beyond, Payless shoe stores...Walmart, Chico's, Old Navy, Office Depot, etc....the list goes on. TGI Fridays, Pappadeaux, Pappasitos, Joes Crab shack, Birra Poretti's, Sushi Zone, Buffalo Wildwings, Hooters, Redneck Heaven, are just a few of the restaurants in the vicinity.

There is even an Arlington Visitors center right next to Rangers Stadium for those needing more information.

You won't be dissapointed with the location of this home!!

**********THE A/C IN THIS HOME IS CONTROLLED BY THE OWNER VIA WIFI AND IS KEPT ON 72 IN SUMMER AND 74 IN WINTER. Due to previous guests carelessly leaving the a/c and heating on ridiculous temperatures and letting it run continuously in their absence, it is now controlled by the owner. This causes incredibly high electric bills and was done in order to keep costs low. DON'T WORRY THOUGH...YOUR COMFORT IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE AND IT CAN BE ADJUSTED BY CONTACTING THE OWNER WHO WILL BE AVAILABLE 24/7 DURING YOUR STAY.

I chose this property because it is tucked away in a nice, safe, little neighborhood that is encompassed by all the entertainment!! It's comfortable, although older, it was a challenge to turn it into the wonderful place that it is today.

What makes this house unique

This home has overgrown trees, and a large yard. It also has a patio area on the back of the home that is private, with a garden well as a front porch that can be relaxed on while looking into the nicely landscaped field of a Private school. There is also a tankless water heater....that means no matter how many stay, NO ONE gets a cold shower!!!

Location, Location, Location. Incredible place, very clean, not much more to ask for. The owners communicated very well. Would stay there again.

If the cancellation occurs in less than two weeks prior to the rental date and time, then the amount of one night’s rental rate will be forfeited and the full amount of remaining rental and cleaning fees paid, as well as Security Deposit will be refunded via Paypal.

If cancellation occurs prior to one month before check-in date and time, the full Security deposit is refunded and one night’s rental fees are forfeited. If the cancellation occurs in less than one month prior to the rental date and time, then all rental fees, cleaning fees and taxes are non-refundable. Any service fees paid through the website are not refundable as well. The Security Deposit is refundable in full.
***If booked less than one month from the event or holiday, the booking is non-refundable. Security Deposit is refunded in full in the event of cancellation.

Damages constituting loss of Deposit are at the discretion of the home owner. If damages are found after checkout, that were not reported beforehand, loss of the deposit in full is to be expected.
***I will be reasonable in my decisions about broken or damaged items, as I understand that things happen. If it appears that damages were caused purposefully it will result in loss of full deposit, and could/will result in a lawsuit against the individual causing such damages, or the individuals responsible for securing the booking of the home.

  • The main bathroom (bathroom 1) is off the common hall way to the entrances to all bedrooms. It has a large tub and double shower head with a shower curtain. It has a heat lamp. Lots of towels are available, as well as washcloths and hand towels. Toiletries such as cotton balls, make up remover pads, Q-tips and tissues are provided. Toilet paper is also plentiful and provided.

Blue room (bdrm 3) has twin bed (long) and trundle under with 2nd bathroom availability. It has two stained glass lamps...and a place to hang your clothes, and empty shelves to put your belongings. The laundry/utility room (bdrm 4) is set up very nicely...with two twin beds, a window unit for a/c, and ceramic heater for warmth (although you can leave the door open by dining room and will be cooled or heated also). Living room (bdrm 5) has queen size roll away couch and Queen size futon. There are ceiling fans in every room, overhead lighting, as well as multiple lamps. There are plug strips in every room for charging phones, computers, etc... Lots of clean linens, blankets and extra pillows are available, as well.
