Owners personal residence for many years so well-maintained. The downstairs living space called the Captain's Quarters includes a dbl bed, full size futon , full bath, and efficiency kitchen.
The upstairs living space has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a living room with 1 full size futon, huge bay windows, a dining area, and full kitchen. You will also enjoy your personal lighted 375 ft pier. Seating on bottom patio for 20 with New Entertainment Bar.
Valynslanding is a perfect summer retreat or a Winter Texans/Snowbirds oasis!

House was awesome! We caught crab with the available traps and alligator gar and shrimp right off the pier. The hosts are very nice and easy to work with! We highly recommend staying here.

Caught a variety of fish from alligator gar, to black drum. Captain's quarter was super cold. Nice hideaway from the heat. Excellent stay, will stay there again.

Place was great. Didn’t have much success finishing and no blue crab. The house was very nice and it was very relaxing to be on the water for a couple of days.

Well stocked & then some! Everything we needed was stocked in the kitchen & pantry. The hosts have thought of everything! The house was clean. The view is spectacular. The hosts are quick to respond and kind. Nice to have a separate downstairs Captains Quarters. We spent most of our daytime hours downstairs enjoying the breeze. Downstairs has a cooled mini fridge waiting for beverages!Dolphins were spotted from the dock!We will be visiting again.

The home was just as described. The area was quiet and perfect for a quick getaway. We loved the pier and enjoyed spending a few hours fishing. The covered area underneath the house was a great place to sit and watch a storm coming in. The house had everything that we needed and Judy was a great host, calling to make sure that we had arrived and had everything that we needed. Would definitely return!

The home was better than listed. I liked the captain's quarters a lot. So much privacy. The pantry had every appliance we could need.

My husband Val and I grew up in Palacios and raised our 4 children here. We love this town and the water and never thought we could own a home on the water. We lived happily at Valyn's Landing for many years until our family just grew too big and we needed more space. A piece of our hearts stay with the property even though we only live a few miles away!

Our property was our family home for many years and we took great care of it. We take pride in sharing the home we made so many great memories in with our children, grandchildren, and friends. You will love the open concept of the living space which allows for water views from just about every room. You will enjoy the private pier as you fish, sunbathe, swim, or porpoise watch. Palacios is a great little town that will remind you of a simpler time.

We bought this property for the outdoor space, private pier, and amazing view. The home needed extensive remodeling and updating which we did and continue to do. Outdoor security camera has been added for extra comfort .
