3 Bedroom 3 bath Lake House with boat dock and huge wrap around deck.

Newly remodeled Lake House in Port Duncan on Monkey Island. Fresh new granite countertops, wood floors and new stainless appliances. Master bed downstairs with King bed, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with with Queen bed and one with full size bunk beds. Easily sleeps 8. DirecTV in every room with new flat screen TVs. High speed internet with WiFi. Beautiful large wood deck that wraps around the back of the home. Outstanding view from the deck into the cove and down to the boat dock. Deep cove with fishing from the lighted dock. Tiki torches on the deck. New gas grill on the deck with plenty of lounging and eating spaces. Safe comfortable neighborhood with lots of trees and wildlife. Deer are everywhere!!

After looking at several properties for the past 4 years, we found this perfect home on Monkey island. Our home is clean, quiet and comfortable inside and out. It is truly a home away from home. We love Monkey Island because of the many different restaurants and easy access to nightlife and golf and water sports.

What makes this house unique

Our home has everything you need for a lake vacation get away. It has been totally updated throughout and has a great view with comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining and relaxing.

Our FAVORITE Grand Lake Property!

This is by far the best property my family and I have stayed on at Grand Lake. The convenience, cleanliness, beautiful views and fantastic owners make it a #1 property. My husband and I will not stay anywhere else! The home accommodates plenty of people, the dock is fantastic for your boat needs and the outside deck is VERY enjoyable to create memories on with the surround sound, beautiful view of the water and the luxury patio furniture. Beds are comfortable, house is very updated and nice and very well taken care of.

Craig and Kim are fantastic in answering any questions you have and they do a great job making sure you are completely accommodated and satisfied.

By far will recommend and send anyone and everyone to this rental, and Thank you again for opening your home to us for such a special occasion.

Perfect Weekend

We arrived and the home was spotless smelled great and had all new updates. The home is well equipped with everything you need. It is a great space for entertaining. We loved the deck and access to the boat dock. We fished and swam from the dock our boys loved it. The access roads and driveway is all paved and there are spaces to park above and below the road, which made it great as it poured rain one day during our stay. Easy access to all things related to the lake. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home!

Well taken care of and a great location convenient to Shangri La. One of the most important features to us was a first floor master and walk-in shower--excellent! The very steep driveway and stairs to get into the house are a bit challenging for older guests. I'm sure that it is fine for younger guests but certainly something to consider. Overall, the house is lovely!

Honesty about this listing

I First say property is a duplex so another party behind the wall. Noise was no issue. Parking was. Other side had 6 vehicles. They Used every spot available including 2 extra spots on our side. Never less I chose to not let it bother and parked off to side of the street. Parking spots we did have were so steep that the you had to put the car in emergency break because car was sitting at about a 45degree angle.

Having said this property was clean, decorated, and deck overlooking cove great. Plenty of room for 8-9 people. We have a 3 year old and 2 teenagers.

Whole week great mostly. Had to share dockage was pia but not bad. If full time dock is required you will want to coordinate other side situation.

We still enjoyed our stay. We were very happy until!

CHECKOUT!!!

We were treated like garbage!

Accused us of having a dog. Which we did not. Please know not for 1 second did we have 1 pet in that entire place. If was going to bring a pet would have disclosed it up front and paid a deposit. It was just disappointing to have this great week ending like this. He said we left the house a mess. He complained that we didn't make the beds. Of course we didn't make the beds. Why we pay so much per night?

We did dishes, rinsed sink, Windex counters, vacuumed, Took out trash which by the way you have to take out all week long and you have to load it in your car and drive it about 4 miles down the road to the nearest dumpster. We couldn’t have left this place cleaner than what we did. Shocked guy was accusing us of leaving the place trashed.

After realizing no animals he half way apologized said cleaning crew got sheets mixed up. Had to beg for deposit. Took 10 days to get back. Only gave it back cause I told him keep a portion. Then received the deposit back in 10 minutes. He did credit us the extra night we had booked so that was nice. We accidently booked 7 nights only stayed 6. So in all got treated badly upon departure. Sent text on departure giving rundown of the walkthrough. Disclosed one of the brackets on curtain rod over the window was bent. A 5 dollar piece home depot and I have no idea how it bent but I noticed it I told him to take it out of our deposit. He kept referring in our exchange of texts that I broke stuff. STUFF? Like it was plural.

He mentioned several times does so many rentals he doesn’t care about our business.

Sorry for novel but can’t stand someone not knowing this experience before spending so much on a vaca.
