Nice house, great location

The house is less than a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach. Other than water from the shower in the hallway bathroom running into the hallway with every use, this place is great. The house is spacious, great pool, and backyard!! We enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay there on future visits!!

Nice stay near the beach

We had a very nice stay in the house with a group of 11 friends to go climbing and hiking. After a active day it was good to have a swim in the sea. There are a lot of beds, but the house is better equipped for a group with small children in my opinion. The garden is really beautiful and spacious.

Traumurlaub in Traumhaus

Über Pfingsten haben wir zwölf herrliche Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus in La Ciotat verbracht. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub! Das Haus bot für uns mit unseren vier Kindern und dem Hund jede Menge Platz: Elternschlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad sowie drei Kinderzimmer, eins mit Stockbetten als Durchgangszimmer vor Elternschlafzimmer, daneben ein Bad mit Badewanne, ein kleines Bad mit Dusche und noch eine separate Toilette. Schönes Wohn-/Esszimmer, Smart-TV mit Netflix etc., Küche mit gutem Gasherd und allem Notwendigen, auch viele Kochutensilien und ausreichend Geschirr. Traumhafter mit Wärmepumpe beheizter Pool, Tischtennisplatte im Poolhaus. Der Garten ist sehr groß, wunderschön angelegt mit altem Baumbestand und komplett eingezäunt (toll wenn man mit Hund reist). Auf der großen Terrasse konnten wir jeden Morgen und Abend essen. Begeistert hat uns die absolut ruhige Lage des Hauses in einer Einbahnstraße, und gleichzeitig ist man in drei Minuten an einem belebten Stadtstrand mit reichlich Restaurants und Länden (hervorragender Bäcker ebenfalls nur drei Minuten zu Fuß). La Ciotat insgesamt hat uns auch sehr angesprochen, keine reine Touristensiedlung sondern eine lebendige französische Hafenstadt. Nicht verpassen: Spaziergang durch den botanischen Garten mit phänomenalen Aussichtspunkten zu den Felsen und aufs offene Meer. Fazit: Wenn wir könnten, würden wir nächste Woche wieder hinreisen!

Villa allée lumière

Wir haben als Familie (mehrere Generationen) im Juli 2020 eine Woche in La Ciotat Ferien gemacht. Mit dem Haus waren wir grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer war für 4 Parteien gut. Die Aufteilung der Toiletten und Duschen war ok. Die Ausstattung der Küche war zufriedenstellend. Der grosse Garten mit grossen Bäumen, und somit viel Schatten, war toll! Der Strand ist nur etwa 2 Minuten enfernt. Er war zu dieser Zeit ziemlich überfüllt und ist nicht besonders schön. Wir haben viel Zeit im schönen Garten verbracht und es genossen. In La Ciotat hat es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man benötigt allerdings dafür ein Auto. Leider war das Haus nicht wirklich sauber. Zusammenfassend: Das Haus war zweckmässig, der Garten toll, die Lage gut, der Strand ok. Wir haben unsere Ferien dort genossen!

Herbst Urlaub mit Familie

Es war ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Urlaub. Das Haus ist einfach toll, es hat seinen eigenen Charme und der Garten ist ein Traum. Er ist riesig mit alten Bäumen und einem schönen Pool. Leider war es zu kühl, um darin zu baden, aber das lag an den herbstlichen Temperaturen. Die Lage ist perfekt, das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen Strasse, die direkt zum Meer führt. Tatsächlich sind es 100m bis zum flach abfallenden Sandstrand. Marie war sehr nett und hat uns gute Tipps zum Aufenthalt gegeben. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Family beach break

I stayed in July 2019, our group was 8 family members. Pros - The location was great, footsteps from the beach and a short 25min walk into the centre of La Ciotat - The pool and garden were beautiful and we made extensive use of both - Right around the corner form a little bakery - Parking was useful and the street get very busy Cons - The house was too hot in the middle of summer. There is no aircon and we were only provided with a couple of fans. We found it hard to sleep. - The basement bedroom was damp and mouldy, I don't believe they should advertise this as a bedroom, it is not suitable to sleep in. - Take your own towels, although 'linen' was included we only got 1 old towel per person Overall it was a beautiful house but we would not no go back at that time of year.

Wunderschönes großzügiges und gemütliches Haus in toller Lage!

Wir (2 Familien mit insg. 5 Kindern zwischen 3 und 10 Jahren) haben eine Woche im April hier verbracht und unseren Aufenthalt trotz des schlechten Wetters sehr genossen. Das Haus und der Garten waren sehr schön und haben ausreichend Platz geboten. Man sollte allerdings wissen, das ein Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist und ein Schlafzimmer im Keller ist, was für die Kinder aber kein Problem war. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist wunderschön und wurde von uns viel genutzt. Zum Strand ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Schade war nur, dass der Pool noch nicht benutzbar war.

Wonderful villa in La Ciotat! Very recommendable.

The villa is located around 200m away from La Ciotats Grand Plage. A big choice of Restaurants and beach stores are in 5 minutes walking distance. The old town with more stores, local markets and dozens more of restaurants is roughly a 20 minutes walk. A very good bakery for your morning baguette is also only a 2 minutes walk. We enjoyed very much our early morning coffee at the beach. Although the beach life in La Ciotat can get pretty lively and noisy in high season the villa has a big terrace and a protected and beautiful pine and palm garden with a decent and very well maintained pool. This allows you to find a calm place also when the beaches are crowded in the afternoon. The villa itself exceeded our expectations. The cut of rooms allowed us to find enough space for all members of our big family. The interior was friendly and well maintained, a pool boy came up to 4 times a week if required to keep the water in an ideal quality. Overall the landlord did really everything to justify the high class positioning of the location. The communication was very friendly and responsive at all times. A special highlight was Marie, our local contact in La Ciotat . She is a wonderful and charming French lady, who gave us valuable advices for place to go and not to go. But she also took the time to cook authentic Provences cuisine, when we wanted to. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy really home made local cuisine and saved us time for cooking or restaurant visits. This made the stay there to a really unforgettable experience, with wonderful memories for us and our kids. Our big thanks to the landlords and esp. Marie!
