My husband and I spent two weeks in this incredible apartment with the breathtaking view--exactly as pictured and described on line. The apartment was exceptionally well-equipped for cooking in, and had loads of storage space for clothes and personal items. The comfy lounge chairs and small tables for the terrace allowed us to spend long relaxing days in the sun on the huge terrace overlooking the village and the beach. The village itself is charming and we found plenty of cafes for lounging with a coffee or glass of the excellent local wine, as well as a number of good small restaurants. The local bakeries, butchers, fish markets, fruit and vegetable stands, and other places also allowed us to create some memorable meals. Our hostess, Louisette, was very helpful with suggestions for local sightseeing and information about the history of the area. The train station is a five-minute walk from the apartment (we took the train down from Paris, and we did a day trip to Ceret by train and bus) and the one-euro bus in the village--a ten-minute walk--goes up and down the coast to other charming towns allowing us to expand our horizons. The "flowery stairs" mentioned in the on-line information were the main access between the apartment and the village below. After a few days, we could even ascend without feeling like we were going to have heart attackes (we're a retired couple)--and the exercise made us feel virtuous about eating more! We would highly recommend this place to anyone!
