Wonderful hosts and a beautiful house in a beautiful setting
We stayed for a week and a half with our 1 year old and 3 year old in September. The location and house are lovely - very rustic. It is excellent for children especially the big garden with the swings, toys and sand pit. Inside the house has everything you need and is so peaceful. Lots of the little things have been thought about which is appreciated.
The location is excellent. The small village of Sotteville-sur-Mer (where the house is) has a bakery and butchers and nearby Veules-les-Roses (5mins in the car) has lots of restaurants, playground, beach, ice creams etc. Further afield there are lots of pretty villages to explore.
We run a lot and particularly enjoyed the range of trail runs we were able to do whilst staying at the property.
Patrick and Martine are very welcoming and we’re wonderful with our children too. Thank you for welcoming us to your home.

Lovely characterful house in great location
The house was really well appointed with good quality kit and a lovely open fire. The garden was huge and was great for the children to play endless games of hide and seek. The location is fantastic just down the road from some great beaches and the all important boulangerie but the thing that made the stay so special was the owners Patrick and Martine who made us feel so welcome. It really did feel like a home from home. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Fabulous.
Lovely house
The house was ideal for a family break in beautiful countryside near the sea. Patrick is a lovely host and the house was well equipped for us all. The children especially loved the Tyrolean ( zip wire) in the garden. We would certainly recommend the house and hopefully come back again.

"We had a wonderful stay in Sotteville. Everything was absolutely great: the beautiful house that has everything you need, the playground, the village and the surroundings. Patrick and Martine, the house owners are the best we have ever met, very nice, caring and helpful. Thank you very much, Patrick and Martine! We will be happy to come back
to Sottevillt again!"

"Beautiful house, garden, village and coast. Very friendly hosts, very child-friendly garden. Everything perfect!"

"We liked the clean and spacious house very much, it is well furnished, with all amenities you can expect. Simply everything is there, from kitchen machines to your favourite eighties and nineties music (records and cd's). The beds are perfect. The place is very quiet, you only hear the pigeons and other birds sing. The immediate surrounding is the huge garden, which was an ideal and safe playground for our kids. The village is in walking distance and provides the daily food. Especially the perfect boulangerie and boucherie across the square, and the nice fresh market on tuesday mornings. Plenty space for parking your car (or two) at the front door, and easy accessability from the main roads. Sweetest village in the neighborhood (3km) is Veules-Les-Roses, the little jewel in the Caux-area. Last but foremost to be mentioned: The owners Patrick and Martine Fournier are the kindest hosts you will ever meet. If there may be anything left to wish, they try to make it possible. Merci Beaucoup et au revoir!"
