HOUSE FOR RENT ON 16-03-23
Belle Rive is a charming house of about 100 years old, recently renovated, which offers 4 beautiful bedrooms (one with a mezzanine). Two of the bedrooms have their own bathroom with a walk-in shower.
There is a small shady garden 2m from the river Veules and also a garden at the back of the house out of sight: you can eat outside quietly. Garden furniture and a barbecue are at your disposal.
The gardens are perfectly enclosed: if you close the door, neither the dog nor the small children will be able to escape.
There is a private parking space adjacent to the house for easy access.
The trendy decor, the quality of the renovation, the recent equipment: you won't be disappointed, everything is there to make your holiday memorable.

A notable advantage of the house in this popular seasonal location is that it is on a footpath, not on the road. This ensures that you can sleep in peace and quiet!

The immense beach is 200 m away: sand as far as the eye can see at low tide, rocks to fish for "bouquet" (a very tasty variety of shrimp), a free children's pool on the esplanade (working in summer): nothing is missing. If you like cycling, sailing or walking, you will find it here. There are countless walks and you can hire a catamaran, a windsurf, a paddle or a kayak within 3 minutes walk.

Veules les Roses was admitted in 2017 in the very closed circle of the "Most beautiful village of France"... You can enjoy this incredible village of barely 500 inhabitants, but which offers all year round a baker, a butcher, a caterer, a hairdresser, 2 grocery shops, nearly 10 restaurants, but also a doctor, a dentist, a nurse ... and a cinema!

The house is equipped with all the latest comforts (wifi, flat screen TV, dishwasher, laundry room with washing machine, etc.).

Electricity is billed on the basis of actual consumption, based on EDF readings. The TV subscription gives you access to German channels.
Cleaning at the end of your stay (compulsory): 120 €.
Linen (sheets, 2 towels, tea towel): 15 € / person.

Pets are accepted (extra charge of 5€/day, minimum 35 €) and baby bed and chair are lent free of charge on request.

The house is proposed for 6 to 8 people, but its 5 double beds in the 4 bedrooms + mezzanine can accommodate 10 people.

The price is given for a 6 person occupancy, supplement of 15€/person/night from the 7th person.

Perfect location with beautiful outdoor areas in the front and back and an easy, quick walk to the ocean. The house was large enough for 6 adults and very clean! Michel was so easy to communicate with and responsive. If we are lucky enough to come back to France this would be a definite stop.

Michel was the perfect host for us. He was very helpful, had very good recommendations for shopping and eating out and fortunately was able to resolve an unpleasant situation for us quickly and easily. The house was very clean, fully furnished and despite the central location, very quiet. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Beautiful house, nice bedrooms, very good renovations. Very well located above the river Veules in the center of the village, and close to the beach. The best house we've had in France since a long time. There is no parking in the house, but we parked easily in the street (50 m). We will definitely come back.

Hi John, there is now a parking place just behind the house, connected with the new garden - also behind the house. This garden is well closed, no possibility for dogs to escape ! ;-) There is also wood terrace, barbecue, and lounge chairs in this new garden. See you soon.

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Untere Toilette müsste renoviert werden. Im unteren Schlafzimmer gibt es keinen Kleiderschrank, nur ein Regalbrett und Kleiderstange. Gartentisch könnte erneuert werden, ebenso der Wäscheständer.Schöne Lage direkt am Fluss, sehr ruhig. Parkplatz vorhanden.

Guten Tag, Sie haben Ihren Aufenthalt zwar genossen, aber wir haben Ihre Anwesenheit nicht genossen. Seit Ihrer Ankunft haben Sie eine unverständliche Aggressivität an den Tag gelegt. Sie haben sich über alles beschwert, darunter über zwei Blätter, die über Nacht auf die Terrasse gefallen waren, über zu wenige Steckdosen im Zimmer, obwohl es vier gab, und über eine kaputte Jalousie, die lediglich leicht schief hing und durch Ziehen an der Schnur um 5 cm wieder in die richtige Position gebracht werden konnte. Wir mussten Ihnen ein Foto aller Schalter im Wohnzimmer mit den dazugehörigen Lampen schicken. Sie haben sich über mangelnde Sauberkeit beschwert, obwohl alles perfekt sauber war – aber die Farbe ist 3 Jahre alt und weist einige winzige Unvollkommenheiten auf. Ich habe Ihnen angeboten, sofort jemanden vorbeizuschicken, um sich umzusehen, die Probleme und die Sauberkeit zu überprüfen, aber Sie haben abgelehnt – einfach weil es nichts zu zeigen gab. In 10 Jahren Ferienvermietung ist dies das erste Mal, dass wir eine so unangenehme Person getroffen haben. Es ist sinnlos, wiederkommen zu wollen, wir werden Sie nicht mehr aufnehmen.

Hervorragende Lage, sehr schönes Haus, ansprechendes Mobiliar, die Sauberkeit in der Küche entsprach nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen, die zusätzliche Übernahme der Stromkosten hätte im Inserat ausgewiesen sein können (war im Ergebnis aber angemessen und im Verhältnis auch unbedeutend). Wir würden dort wieder Urlaub machen!

Bonjour Mark, La femme de ménage qui était malade le samedi de votre arrivée a été remplacée au dernier moment - c'est la 2e fois que cela m'arrive depuis 7 ans- et malgré un contrôle, des oublis peuvent arriver. Je regrette que vous ne m'ayez pas informé immédiatement (vous aviez mon téléphone mobile et mon email), j'aurai immédiatement renvoyé quelqu'un. Concernant l'électricité, il est indiqué dans l'annonce : "L'électricité est facturée selon la consommation réelle sur la base des factures EDF. L'abonnement TV vous donne accès aux chaînes allemandes." J'ai contrôlé la traduction allemande, et cela a été correctement traduit. Je regrette que votre n'ayez pas lu (ou relu) en totalité l'annonce avant de faire une remarque qui indique que je facture des frais non-prévus, ce qui est donc faux. Une maison qui peut accueillir de 2 à 10 personnes ne présente pas des charges identiques pour tout le monde, je ne les facture pas quand elles sont très faibles - je ne les ai facturées que 3 fois (avec la vôtre) depuis juin. Enfin, je note que vous avez tout apprécié dans cette maison, depuis son emplacement proche du centre et de la plage, jusqu'à sa décoration, son confort et ses 2 jardins abrités des regards. C'est le principal. Michel.

Süsses französisches Haus in einem süssen französischen Ort

Eine sehr schöne Woche in einem schönen, französischen, älteren Haus. Schon von aussen ein Hingucker, wenn auch das Gebüsch etwas geschnitten werden könnte. Tolle Lage am kleinsten Fluss der Normandie. Sehr schön eingerichtet. Alles da, was benötigt wurde. Tolle Betten. Michel gab immer schnell Antworten. Seine Restaurantliste war sehr zutreffend. Wir haben immer sehr lecker gegessen. Der Ort ist herrlich überschaubar und sehr typisch. Jede Strasse, jeder Weg bietet etwas schönes anzusehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bonjour Andreas, Vous m'avez signalé "des prises mal fixées" et des chaises en mauvais état. Nous avons contrôlé toutes les prises, une seule était légèrement défaite, nous l'avons refixée. Nous avons de plus remplacé par sécurité toutes les chaises intérieures en bois comme celles extérieures en métal qui présentaient parfois des points de rouille. Nous sommes attachés au bon état du logement et au bon fonctionnement de tous les équipements. Encore faut-il que l'on soit informé de ce qui ne va pas : je pose la question à tous les locataires partant, vous êtes le 1er à nous avoir signalé des problèmes, et il fallait le faire. J'ai toutefois été surpris, car nous avons généralement des compliments, notamment sur la qualité de la literie. Bien cordialement, Michel.

Très bien placée

La maison est très bien située dans le village, à proximité de la rue commerçante et de la mer. Très fonctionnelle, elle est très agréable et facile à vivre. La literie est parfaite. La cuisine est bien équipée. Y accéder par le petit chemin le long de la Veule lui donne tout son charme. Mais sincèrement tout le village est d’un charme incroyable. Un bémol: le temps passe plus vite à Veule les Roses.

Super Ferienhaus

Wir waren drei Erwachsene und drei Kinder und haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Die zentrale Lage war ein Highlight für uns, die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und alles war sauber. Michel war sehr hilfsbereit und schnell in der Kommunikation. Da wir abends gerne lange draußen sitzen, hätten wir uns über bequemere Gartenmöbel gefreut. Wir haben den Garten deshalb kaum genutzt. Auch die Holzstühle im Essbereich sind sehr einfach. Wir haben unsere Abende deshalb auf dem super gemütlichen Sofa verbracht, da wir auch Senioren dabei hatten. Bei einem Haus in der Preisklasse hat uns das allerdings etwas gewundert. Außerdem hätten wir uns Fliegengitter gewünscht, da wir Fenster und Türen aufgrund der vielen Mücken immer geschlossen halten mussten. Trotzdem würden wir das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und können es absolut weiterempfehlen.

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons trouvé cette jolie maison au cœur du village de Veules les roses qui nous a permis de passer une semaine très agréable. Les deux douches sont une vraie commodité pour un séjour en famille nombreuse. Les équipements sont modernes et la vaisselle très suffisante. L'évier n'est pas très pratique placé en coin mais l'essentiel de la vaisselle se fait dans le lave vaisselle. Un double vitrage des fenêtres améliorerait encore le séjour et permettrait d'éviter la condensation. Super vacances de fin d'annee !

Bonjour Dominique, merci pour votre commentaire. Nous équipons la maison avec le matériel de base indispensable au 1er jour (papier toilette, sac poubelle en place, pastille et produit vaisselle) et nous laissons les produits non-déballés qui ont été laissés par les précédents occupants. Mais nous sommes pas un hôtel et nous ne pré-équipons pas avec le matériel de toilette. Ceci est la règle générale dans les locations de vacances. Cela nous est arrivé, à la demande des locataires, d'acheter un ensemble de produits et de les mettre dans la maison. Enfin, l'Epicerie de la Plage est à 200 m est a tout ce qu'il faut. ;-) Je suis heureux que vous ayez apprécié le confort et la localisation exceptionnelle de la maison, idéale pour une famille comme la vôtre (2 adultes et 4 enfants). A une prochaine fois j'espère. Michel.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir waren mit unserer fünfköpfigen Familie für eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Veules-les-Roses ist bezaubernd. Ein inspirierender und aus der Zeit gefallener, wunderschöner Ort. Das Haus ist nah am Strand, direkt an einem kleinen Bach gelegen. Alles hat gut geklappt, der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr gut. In der Nähe sind tolle Restaurants. Ein schöner Ort, um sich zu erholen.

Pleasant autumn break

The house is located in the centre of Veules les Roses which is a very pretty seaside town with several restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Unfortunately, during our stay, extensive roadworks were taking place outside the property and throughout the town. If this had not been the case, we would have given 5 stars but we can only comment on our experience. However, the owner has apologised for this and waived the additional 35 euro heating fee which was much appreciated. Lovely house and location, very comfortable living and dining rooms. Just a point to note, the en suites do not contain toilets - there are two separate toilets in all. Another big positive is the private parking space. We will certainly return! Thank you Michel.

Einfach super :-)

Alles wie beschrieben, einfach super 😊 Sehr schönes, gepflegtes und sauberes Haus mit allem drin was man braucht. Gerade mal 2 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Das Dorf ist auch wirklich sehr schön. Einziges (klitzekleines) Manko ist die Parkplatz Situation und die recht engen Straßen.
