A great room with ceiling fan and tasteful tropical appointments. A well equipped kitchen with coffeemaker, blender and microwave included. An extra half bath completes the space. The casa has been freshly painted inside and out. The outdoor living space with infinity pool and barbeque boasts ocean and jungle views. Our casa is on almost two very private acres of hillside and has a small waterfall with a maintained stair case. The gardens exhibit abundant flora and fauna. Toucans and Howler Monkeys are frequent visitors. The sounds of the surf and rainforest complete your Costa Rica experience. We have a two wheel access road with gated driveway. Within 500 meters is a small eco- lodge with outstanding Whales Tail and ocean views. Take a day off from cooking and enjoy their cuisine. The lodge could also be utilized to accommodate extra guests in your party. There are many other excellent dining options, ranging from casual/local to fine cuisine, within a short drive.
The Uvita area makes a great home base for exploring Manuel Antonio and Marino Ballena National Parks, The Osa peninsula, Cano Island and Dominical. The beaches in the area are endless, unpopulated, clean and the water is warm and clear. Other amenities of the area are fishing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, hiking, waterfalls, ATV tours, whale and dolphin watching, kayaking, zip lines and horseback riding. Shopping is very good and fresh fish and shrimp are available from the local fishermen. The farmer's market on Saturday mornings with fresh fruit, vegetables and baked goods will complete your menu. What ever your desires may be our property managers can assist you in making it happen.

Paradise in the jungle with a spectacular view
Casa Rosa is a fantastic house perfect for two couples or a family of four. We travelled to Costa Rica for our first visit this March with our teen daughter and her friend.
The layout and space of the house was great for both time together and privacy.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The living area and kitchen are set up for great access to the outside and the spectacular view.
The pool is warm... very warm when we were there in the middle of March.
The sunset views are spectacular and we were treated to a group of toucans that would arrive in a nearby tree everyday at 5.
The house had everything we needed. We are out for lunch and dinner and in for breakfast. If you are looking to cook, you will need to buy/bring everything as there is only salt and pepper (I’m sure so that there are no unwelcome ‘guests’).
The house has beach and bath towels and the toilet paper, paper towel, soaps, dishwasher, and laundry detergent are all supplied.
We would highly recommend if you like privacy and a beautiful view. Warning: you do need to drive wherever you want to go... even the hotel up the road would be a challenging walk.
Toucans and sunsets!
Casa Rosa ticks all the boxes for a relaxing, no-fuss Costa Rican holiday. The house is located off an unusually good road for Costa Rica, and the house is 5 minutes from beaches and groceries. Toucans visited every morning and evening, and the sunsets from the pool (!) were awesome. Howler monkeys are the morning alarm, and there are tons of hummingbirds. There is a waterfall on the property but it was dry when we were there (March). One cannot see any other houses from the property, but it is right next to the small, not-so-busy road, so one does here occasional cars, but it did not detract from our stay. We would stay at Casa Rosa again, and have already recommended it to friends!
Very well maintained- convenient - basics provided - grocery store nearby
Had a great stay - everything went smoothly- the house is great! We will be back
Probably the best vacation we have ever taken. Loved the house, the privacy, and the gorgeous view.
Hope to return to this VRBO. Everything was great. It’s always a pleasure to work with the team at Jaguar. Pura Vida
Jungle house with amazing sunsets and a perfect pool to keep cool in the jungle
Casa Rosa is a beautiful property in the Uvita area. With two master suites that allows for complete privacy and a fully stocked house that gives all the conveniences of your own house
The living/kitchen areas has beautiful views of the pool and the ocean with multiple sliding doors you can live inside as though you were outside(well screened to keep unwanted critters out)
We have traveled to this area for 15 years and Casa Rosa exceeded all our expectations. We like to stay up in the hills for the coolness at night and tropical breezes that keep the mosquitoes away. Usually this requires a 20 to 40 minute drive on rough dirt roads. Casa Rosa is an easy 5 minute drive from the highway on a mostly paved road. In 6 minutes we were at the supermarket in Uvita.
I would highly recommend this house to couples or families. Safe, quiet, and an amazing property set with wonderful views of ocean and wildlife
Everthing we expected
We were two couples spending 17 days at Casa Rosa and it wasn't long enough. With two master suites the house couldn't have worked better. The grounds were well manicured and the house was clean and well stocked. We cooked mostly on the BBQ and the kitchen has everything you need. We saw Howler and Capuchin monkey's, Tocans and lots of other birds and insects from the patio. Bring binoculars if you have them.
The property is only 5 minutes from town for groceries, eating out, travel arrangements, and banking. Many beaches were nearby and we liked all of them but playa Hermosa was closest and had lifeguards for those who are not familiar with ocean swimming. Quepos is only 45 minutes away which is a tourist town with all the amenities, Manual Antonio National Park, big beach, lots of people.
Anne Marie and Kevin from the Jaguar Group made our travel to the from Casa Rosa seamless with all the information they provided both before, during and after our stay. Thank you for everything.
We are happy that you enjoyed Casa Rosa as much as we do. Thank you for the review.
