Riverbend

This is a great house on the Washougal River. People from the neighborhood do use the swimming hole so you will see other people. The stairs going up to the bedrooms are very steep. The hot tub is great. Kitchen does not have a lot of bakeware or spices. Bring your own. The grill has a hard time getting hot.

Beautiful property . Amazing swimming in river and lots of wildlife viewing ! House is on the older side but everything worked well and was comfortable and fit two families great ! Their cleaning needs some work . When we first got in there were giant flies all over all the windows . Multiple people asked is there something dead in here ? We needed to use a pull out couch bed and when opens it was disgusting. Probably hasnt been cleaned in forever . The ice machine looks like it’s never emptied of water and was completely moldy . Which made us not want to use Kuerig either ! When has that been cleaned ? Lots of other coffee option though . Well stocked with everything u need in kitchen no basic cooking essentials though only salt and pepper . ( no oils or other basics ) . Lots of towels which was amazing ! And a beautiful hot tub !!! Beds were comfortable ! Lots of light bulbs out . Close to race track which we came for . And fun waterfalls close by . Naked falls was our favorite . Also there was some wood inlaid artwork on outside of house that made us uncomfortable and I’m really surprised they are renting this out with said design on side of house . Price was steep for stay !

Already planning my fifth trip to this amazing property!!

We have been here 4 times already and boy do we love it! The river access is chefs kiss. Come in June, the river will be cold but the air and sun will be warm, come in August and the water will be warm but it rained most of the time. Hot tub is always perfect. Love that there is an accessible hose to wipe off your feet. So many amazing ways i can tell you I love this property but it’s good for groups, you feel private and we keep coming back.

The location of the stay is stunning! Unfortunately a couple of details when we arrived that didn't go smoothly. Connecting to the internet was not smooth and when asked for support to the 24 assistance number nothing changed.The person we spoked too said that someone was going to call back and no one did at the house land line. We had no phone service and families were not able to locate us. We managed to connect to it after discovering that the wrong password and other was incorrectly. Other items such lighters to light up the fire place were not working. Anyways.. my Family and I had a great time and loved the area after the first night. Thank you.

**Magical Location** We had a memorable stay at this vacation rental, thanks in large part to its magical location. The property is nestled beside a beautiful, accessible river that was perfect for swimming and soaking in the natural surroundings—truly a highlight of our visit. The house itself was charming, with a lovely aesthetic, but it’s showing its age in some areas. The kitchen and one bathroom are outdated and could benefit from a refresh. While the beds were clean, they unfortunately weren’t very comfortable, which affected our sleep quality. One of the strengths of this rental is how well-stocked it was. From kitchenware to extra linens and towels, it’s clear the owner has thoughtfully considered what guests might need during their stay. We appreciated this attention to detail. Cleanliness was mostly satisfactory, but there were a few areas that need more attention. While the house appeared clean on the surface, it desperately needed dusting under the furniture and beds, and the vents were visibly caked in dust, which was hard to overlook. A couple of other issues slightly detracted from the experience. We were initially given the wrong Wi-Fi login, which caused some frustration before we finally found the correct information in a binder. Also, all the door handles were loose and needed tightening, which gave the house a slightly neglected feel. Overall, the stay had many enjoyable aspects, especially the setting and the care taken

Paradise

This cabin is one of the most stunning rentals we have ever stayed in. The home is absolutely incredible and the location is practically magical. Everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were all designed with incredible touches and beautiful artistry.

Relaxing getaway

The only challenge was finding the location in the dark so I suggest driving during the daylight. Overall the stay was great. The house felt homey and I loved the addition of the wood fireplace. The hot tub was great for the cold at night. I would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away and get disconnected!

Amazing Location

The location of this home is remarkable. Views of the river from almost every room. Bald eagles seemed to have favorite spots in the trees across the river (seen from the living room with the handily provided binoculars). My daughter is asking if we can visit again in the summer. Note - bring coffee if you are a caffeine addict like me - there is none on site. But very cute local coffee shop 15 minutes away.

Wooded Paradise

This home was better than expected! Welcoming, warm and comfortable inside. Big windows not only let in light, but framed the beautiful property. I literally said WOW when I came down the stairs. The location with the river, swimming hole, little waterfall across the way, trees (which were in fall colors),groomed hiking trail… words truly don’t do justice to this property! Secluded yet not far from stores, waterfalls and adventures. Will be booking again!

Beautiful property

Does life get any better than sipping coffee while you look out three bay windows at the river and a waterfall? This place is a truly unique home in a gorgeous natural setting, just minutes from downtown Washougal and Camas.

Beautiful house and location!

This is a great house on the Washougal River. Lots of things to do in the area, but also lovely to just spend time here. Everything was spotless and the house is quite comfortable with lots of space.

Exactly what we needed

Stunning location. It was picturesque, well appointed and absolutely perfect for our extended family. So many amazing touches in the home - the rocks in the flooring and fireplace were stunning and a conversation point as we discovered new favorites. Beds were ridiculously comfortable, with really lovely and clean bedding. The kitchen was well stocked, and had great space for cooking. Only one of us used the hot tub due to the weather being very warm during our stay, but he found it clean and relaxing. The beach area was a favorite, and while the water was cold, it was fun to wade in and even get submerged! We watched wood ducks playing on the water, too. We had a lovely time and are already planning to come back. Highly recommended!

We didn't want to leave!

This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!

Amazing Secluded Property

Absolutely loved the location of this property. It's a little far from anything, like a major grocery store (20 minute drive), but there is a very cute general store just a couple of miles up the road. The house is very secluded on a beautiful piece of property and it's right on a beautiful river. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors at all times of the day. I would highly recommend this property, but you have to be ok with driving very windy roads to get anywhere. If you can't let internet or tv go, you may have an issue. To my surprise, we didn't miss it at all. Beds were very comfortable, but if you're sensitive to light, you might want to bring some eye cover for sleeping in the queen bedroom upstairs as the curtains are very sheer. At the time of year we were there, the daylight hours were about 5:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Surprise inside

The home was beautiful and the online photos did not do it justice. Make sure you check your emails and Vacasa app for info the day before arriving for entry info and screenshot it. service on phones was impossible. No problem once connected to WIFI.

Lovely getaway with amazing views

This stay had the best river view and private waterfall to look at! There were so many trails around the property, and it really felt like we’re out in nature, with all of the comforts of a beautiful home. It was very cozy, and we enjoyed it very much!

Great home by the river

We have stayed in several rental homes and this was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Most rentals have minimal amount of clean towels and this one had more than enough. There were 4 adults staying here for 5 days and there were probably 10 clean towels when we left. The wifi isn't very good and that would be the only downside. I would highly recommend this home.
