Unique comfy home
Very nice view, unique style home very spacious. It was a little dusty but nothing too bad. My family and I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend this vacation home ❤
Didn't know I was cleaning the house
I got charged for not vacuuming even though the paperwork at the house on check out procedure calls for sweeping (which we did) for the amount of money we spent I think it's crazy.
It was a little more than just sweeping . there was a lot of food spilled under the ottoman and the dishes had to be rewashed as they were loaded without rinsing off old dried food. The next guest would not want food stuck on dishes.. There is a $69 cleaning fee which we waived all but $15 since the house was basically cleaned.
Wonderful time with family!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. Lovely home with lots of room. It does have ALOT of stairs that I couldn't really tel about from the pictures but that could be an issue for older renters and the dock is accessible across the road and down a lot of stairs. As long as stairs are not a problem this house is perfect for large groups!!!
Great Lake house
We loved the lake house very roomy and very nice . We loved being close to the lake and having our own dock . Our kids had a blast . Was our first time at South Holston and we loved it beautiful lake . We will be back .
Nice older home close to the water
Owner was very easy to work with and grill had propane for outdoor cooking. So many of the houses we have rented promise propane but tank is always empty. House is well suited for teens and adults but not younger kids. Parking is very limited especially if you have a boat. Overall, house is just as it appears in the pictures. Decks were very nice.
Everything you need
My family very much enjoyed staying in this house. It had plenty of space for us, there was absolutely nothing we needed besides food! It's in a great location and views are beautiful, and the cove was perfect for the kids to jump off the dock and swim. We rented a boat at a nearby marina and spent the day on the lake. It is gorgeous!! The only concern I had was the condition of the stairs going down to the lake, as long as you take your time you should be just fine. I'll definitely be back!!
