Our house is lake front property situated at the head of Boone Lake/tail-waters of the South-fork of the Holston River. There is a dock that is available for shared use where you can dock you water vessel or just sit and sun.

Unit#1 - The upper level of the house has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, dining room, living room, and a large kitchen with double french doors that lead to a 14' X 36' cover deck.
Unit#2 - The lower level has 1 large bedroom with 2 Queen beds, a full bath, den with sleeper sofa and kitchen .
The house can be rented as a whole or either level can be rented separately.
Bring a group or just a couple and your needs can be met. Maximum number for groups will be limited to 12 guest. (This property is not intended for use as a family reunion site unless that is arranged with the owner prior to booking. Property is furnished for the maximum number of paying guest as stated above.)

You can spend the day fishing, hiking, biking, sightseeing, shopping and so much more.
If fishing is your thing you won't find a more convenient place then this. With just a few steps out the back door you can cast your line and fish from the bank. Bring you own boat and launch it up river and you can drift the Holston River and stop at the property dock. Guided tours as well as angler supplies are available nearby.
The public boat ramp is within sight of the house but if you have a small boat you can launch it at the dock on the property.
Important Information: Due to the repairs being done to Boone Dam, the lake levels of Boone Lake are down. The water level is only running to the depth of the original river channel and fluctuations with the release of water from South Holston Dam. .
Water sports is limited to small boats, rafts, kayaks and tubing. If you like to fish, bring your poles, fishing is good.

Bristol Motor Speedway is only 3 miles away and a straight shot to the track. If you are a race fan this is the place for you. Nothing could be more exciting than going to the races and afterwards coming back to the house to wind down on the covered deck & talk about the race day and how your driver finished.

Barter Theater in Abingdon, Va., is approx. 15 miles. If you love live theater than this house is a plus for you.

For the avid mountian biker, the Creeper Trail in Damascus, Va. is just a short drive away.

After spending the day enjoying the lakes. rivers, races, or any number of activities or events in the area, you can kick back and relax the remainder of the evening sitting on a huge deck overlooking the lake as a gentle breeze sweeps your cares away.
