  • Amazing! Everything we hoped for & more!

"We stayed here the first week in July and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! We vacationed with our two daughters (ages 10 & 14) and my mother. The layout was perfect as the girls were able to have their own space on the bottom floor and the first floor master was perfect for my mom so she wouldn't need to climb stairs. My husband and I enjoyed the solitude of the 3rd floor and the private balcony! The house and decor was beautiful and cozy, yet with room to spread out. We ate most meals at the cabin and found the kitchen well stocked to suit all of our cooking needs. Having a washer and dryer was also very convenient, so we didn't have to travel home with dirty laundry. The water pressure in the showers was wonderful and the hot water plentiful. We experienced thunderstorms on most days of our stay and that only enhanced the beauty of the area. We did lose power for about 2 hours and Pam was absolutely wonderful and contacted the power company to inform them of the outage. We were very surprised at how quickly the power was restored given the fierceness of the storm. It was quite wild to watch from the safety and comfort of the house! The drive up to the house was an experience as the road is windy and narrow, but it was paved and the parking area was perfect for our two cars. It was nice being able to carry things directly into the kitchen in just a few steps. You are located very close to the Arts and Crafts loop and very convenient to the grocery store and all the stores and attractions in Gatlinburg. Definitely take your time to explore the National Park. We saw a momma bear and two cubs on our way to Cades Cove and a couple of days later watched a herd of 14 elk just outside of Smokemont on our way to Cherokee. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! You cannot go wrong selecting this cabin for your vacation! Thank you very much Pam for your wonderful hospitality! ~The Stanley's from Vermont"

  • Very well taken care of.

"My husband & I enjoyed the cabin. Very clean and comfortable. The view was as beautiful as the pictures. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool & had fun shooting a few games on the pool table. The only thing I would say is there's a lot of steps. It was still all worth the stay & I'd do it again!"

  • It was everything as advertised

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. It was just as described on VRBO. The trees have grown since website photos were taken, but made it more cozy. Although a little dated, it was very clean, had truly had everything that you need for a perfect vacation, other than your food, washing powder and fabric softener. If we had any questions although I had to do was call Mrs. Debbie and she answered right away. Much roomier than photos show. The house is private, secluded, but not very far from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and many other areas. We traveled to Knoxville, about an hour's drive to visit Fort James White, Andrew Johnson National Cemetary, and several other historic sites. Although we preffered to cook or grill all our meals at the cabin, we did eat out one time. We highly recommend the Cosby café as a must try restaurant. It is like a little hidden jem for a restaurant. We had daily visits from a little rabbit and family of turkeys. We have already decided that we will be staying at this cabin again and can't wait for our next trip."

  • Great location, clean, family friendly cottage

"This is the perfect location to launch your trips to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains. The cottage is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love the attached garage and screened porch. We visited Cades Cove many times this trip and finally got to see a bear! We will return to this great place next year! Also there is a new Publix grocery store nearby."
